Hello Nishacan you help me with my 18 month old daughter.She repeatedly suffers from croup cough and needs to be nebulised.She also catches cold very frequently.She was born as a healthy baby 3.3 Kgs was her birth weight but over a period of time she has not maintained consistency.At 18 months she weighs 10.5 kgs .Height seems normal.She is not a fussy eater.But since she repeatedly catches cold and croupy cough she does not get time to catch up on her weight .She also passes at least 2-3 motions in a day.Could you suggest a remedy which would protect her from frequent colds and very distressing croup.During an attack she finds it hard to breath.

1. Your baby's weight and age ratio, & 2-3 motions is quite ideal at this time.
2. However, ALFALFA-Q, (homeopathic mother tincture), about 5 drops in water / milk, 2 times a day to the baby, would let the baby gain weight, safely. Do not use Alfalfa OTC tonic.
- Giving pure Honey, one Teaspoon, 3-4 times a day, also increases weight, safely.
3. Avoid any Homeopathic potencies to the baby, unless absolutely necessary.
4. However, Aconite-30c, 2 pills, every 2 hours also takes care of repeated cold. Give till symptoms persist. Though avoid if possible.
5. The following is 100% safe for the baby for all cold related problems.
a) Ferr.Phos-3X + Kali.Mur-3X + Nat.Sul-3X. (All Bio-chemic triturated tissue salt)
- two tablets of each, dissolved in milk or water or fruit juice ....
-- 3-4 times a day.
b) Above can be given as a PROPHYLAXIS (as a preventive treatment against cold related problems)

Thanks for the reply.Would like clarify that as soon as symptoms of cold appear i should start giving aconie in the prescribed potency.Otherwise when well i should give her the bio-chemic tissue salt so that it builds up her resistance against this.

Which honey acc. to u is pure as i have heard that dabur honey is not very good.Presently i am using honey from Khadi Gram udyog.
