Cat with mouth & teeth issues (anuj srivastava?)
Hello,I believe my cat has periodontitis. He is 15 years old, in good health (aside from these issues).
His gums are red and inflamed (mostly upper teeth area), sour breath smell, tartar and what appears to be a loosening of one tooth. His face will also twitch when I touch close to his ear or if I rub/brush in his throat area.
Throughout his life he would sometimes get small red bumps (sometimes with pus) around his chin but nothing too serious.
He is a serious but friendly cat that gets picked on by other cats in the house although he does try to stand upfor himself (not completely passive). He craves fresh air/outdoors and will often crave fruits such as canteloupe, papaya and even the skin of potatoes.
I know a veterinarian will recommend surgery but after the recent death of another of my cats and all the vet bills dealing with her care I simply can't afford to do that at this moment.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My cat Bijou passed away a week ago on Sept 21. She was no longer able to move freely without help, she was moaning in a way that was heartbreaking. I thought she was constipated and called the vet to see her - when the vet came she gently pushed on her stomach to see if there was a blockage. As she pressed on her stomach she began to gasp for breath - then she stretched out and passed away. It all happened so fast. I knew the time was coming but I did not expect it to be that day. But she saved me from making a decision to choose the day she would go - and she passed away naturally. It has been a very hard week as she was very special to me.
I now still have her 3 brothers to care for. I found all 4 of the cats 15 years ago in a box on a street corner. They were maybe 2 weeks old.
Thank you very much for your help with Bijou. I am very grateful. I suppose when it is ones time there is nothing we can do, but I know your advice helped give her many days of extra comfort and I thank you so much for that.
This cat that I am asking for advice for now is Sylvester. (male). Thank you for your advice regarding his care. I will follow your instructions.

I just called the pharmacy to ask for bacillinum 1m and they said they do not carry it and they cannot order it. When I check places online to purchase it says it won't be delivered to Canada (where I live).

Just get #3 pills 12 grams and the 1m potency prescribed. Liquid has alcohol which is harmful. 4grams is only a tsp and if you have extra it will last for decades.
Anuj is not on, he won't mind, just wanted you to order as it takes around 10 to 14 days.
You could also try hahnemann pharm in Berkeley , calif and say your homeopath gave you instructions and they may say ok. Faster than U.K.

Do whatever is lower than 14.
On hahnemann pharm you need to call and ask, they do not have everything on their site.

So do I now give all 3 (fer phos, silicea, and calc phos) - each 5 pellets 3 times a day or do I only give cal phos now?
As well, I ordered the bacillinum (thanks to simone's recommendation)....when I receive it do I stop tissue salts and give only bacillinum?

Ok - and is bacillinum to be given alone? For example, on the day I give the bacillinum dose no calc phos?

So I finished 4 weeks of bacillinum (1 time per week) and I notice a huge difference in the amount of tartar on my cats teeth! Really amazing! Thank you so much for suggesting this.
There is only still some imflammation of the gums but much less than before and the bad breath is still there and quite strong.
Should I continue with bacillinum until everything improves or is it enough that the tartar is much less?
