Homeopathic Provings
In a nutshell to prove homeopathic dilutions a group of people is administered these dilutions with instructions to refrain from tea, coffee, spices etc. and asked to report all kinds of symptoms physical or mental as they experience.My question is that a group is heterogeneous with varied physical constitutions who are bound to respond to a dilution differently for eg. Some might witness aggravation of symptoms and others relief.
Then how is a proving established beyond any doubts of diverse interaction of individual constitutions with remedy.
Do all major symptoms associated with a remedy show in all group members?
If not then why and in that case what is the proving?

In order to establish the particular symptomatology that a substance can produce upon the human organism we must follow certain rules *.
1. In a group of say 50 provers you start giving the substance in sub-toxic doses (every substance can be concentrated in its mother tincture state so as to become toxic) observing closely the effect upon the provers. Let us suppose you are examining the remedy Bryonia. You start giving to each prover 30 drops of the mother tincture.
A few of them may start showing reactions- symptoms even after the first day. Such provers must stop taking the remedy. A few of the other provers will start having symptoms after the second, third, fourth or fifth day and so on until all the provers have some symptoms at the end of the experiment (One month where the dose is increased by more frequent repetitions day after day).
2. Those that started having symptoms on the first, second or third day are obviously the most sensitive to the substance you are proving and it is only those sensitive individualsthat should take part in the second step of a proving with high potencies of this remedy. It is only then that some of these sensitive provers will develop symptoms from a repetition of such high potencies.

I will read it up.quick query on top of my mind regarding above...
Most sensitive, on them higher potencies would be tried....is not it contradictory? ?
As one goes higher in potencies by definition more potent effects should be observed and most sensitive should respond more intensely ??

You need to learn about susceptibility too.
A person who is affected by the mother tincture, will get more pin pointed symptoms when taking higher potencies, as part of proving.
Different persons get different symptoms. All the symptoms are collected as part of materia medica.
As per similia similimum curantar, when a patient gets the symptoms of remedy as mentioned in materia medica, he will be relieved by the same medicine.

Thanks.I read the short interview. One things striking is that there are differences of opinions/perspective in homeopathy.Not everything is ironclad.About provings also some think susceptibility matters.others as in this interview suggest all are affected and susceptibility is immaterial.

I laboured to read it.It does not make for an easy reading.
Primarily because of so many remedies, several common symptoms and there finer nuances differentiating them.
Add to it sometines ambiguous
And vague ideas which are not easy to grasp.also differences in opinion.
I have few questions.
1.why is it hit and trial with homeopathy. Suppose in Remedy Finder I get 10 remedies matching my condition say more than 30 percent. Then would all help to varying degrees or is there only one elusive constitutional remedy that only can help.?????point being how does one work through multiple remedies. ..hit and trial or any other way?
2.Root cause of disease as psora sycosis and syphilis is unclear? ?
3.Role of diet in health as per homeopathy.?? Surely it can't be suggested that I keep eating garbage still with remedy every thing would be fine.
4.I have scratched my brains out to explain homeopathy in Ayurvedic terms but failed.If like cures like why only potentized dilutions help why not mother tinctures being raw.
5.why are mother tinctures being prescribed when they are herbal or homeopathically speaking very weak or even toxic??

He is known worldwide for curing the "incurable " like ms , etc. He also has projects like cleaning up materia medica , for instance homeopaths look for the strange, rare and peculiar symptom . The remedy silicea has one of those listed -,about fear of needles, sharp pointed objects. But in

As far as diet one must eat right,Exercise, drink water - those are health basics. You have to maintain your health. Remedies
Cannot provide those things .or maintain healing if the basics are not

Diet is central to ayurveda. Perhaps this distinguishes it from others.
In ayurveda dietwise one persons elixir might be other persons poison literally. So apart from generaly accepted food guidelines it is important to eat right as per your body type. Vata pitta and kapha.

I really mean it. As you say, many prescribers here, except a few like Dr.K, Anuj etc.. don't understand homeopathic philosophy well. As you yourself felt, it is a bit difficult too.
In such circumstances, if Aurveda has an answer for the problems being brought out here, it should be encouraged.

I need your help for Lipomas. My father has this problem.He is 76 years old man.He has two big lipomas on his head scalp.The size of each lipoma is like that of a big onion.I tried giving him the homeopathic medicines for the past 6 months like Conium 200C,Calc.Flour 6x,Calc.Flour 12X,Conium 1M,Phytolacca 1M,Calc.Flour 200x as suggested by a Homeopathic doctor who is also my friend,but no cure was obtained.Kindly suggest him some ayurvedic medicines inorder to cure his lipoma

You are kind and encouraging. That is the atmosphere I found on this forum.I appreciate it .
Honestly speaking I have found homeopathy very difficult conceptually. I am an engineer and to not able to visualise working of things and be certain is very frustrating. There are several questions unanswered I feel.It may be bcoz I haven't devoted enough time ,I don't know.
I believe a collective approach should be taken by so called alternative therapies and show modern allopathic doctors their extreme limitations and toxicity. I absolutely detest them not for allopathic limitations but their failure to acknowledge it and thus act as know all and endangering public health.
