The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Merging Ayurveda and Homeopathy:A composite approach.

Is it possible to merge both therapies? What are their relative strengths and weaknesses? Are there any specific conditions in which one should be preferred over other? Or are they both fundamentally complementary and could be used in conjunction?

Could we evolve such a model of composite and complementary approach?

If both are natural would they assist each other or antagonistic?

Granted this is a theoretical discussion but I guess it has never been proposed.

But what if we can combine and unleash their joint healing power.

I know both pathies would claim that no help is needed and both are self sufficient to crack any case.
But there are difficult cases also where recovery is often slow.
Can we expedite with a joint approach?

Does anyone on this forum practise both pathies and can shed light on this?

I read somewhere that ayurveda primarily works through annawaha(food) channels whereas homeopathy directly affects nervous system without affecting digestion. That is target centers are different both both.If that is true a joint approach might work.

Kindly share your opinion. I write this in earnest.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
acc. to me both can work, or any systems of medicines can work together, if the practitioner knows how to approach.

Dear anti virus

That is the big question I asked.what are the modalities involved?

you are right, as for modalities, i am also not sure about any predetermined steps.

I have some ideas.

I do believe in one underlying fundamental reality. Facets or mode of understanding or terminology or interpretation may be different.

Thus I believe both ayurveda and homeopathy have to be two sides of the same coin.

Currently I do interpret homeopathy as practising anti ayurveda.

I propose that could we try as part of homeopathy anti ayurveda. That is can we give homeopathic versions of ayurveda herbs that are most aggravating and worsening in a given condition.

For example. Worse by heat I saw homeopathic remedies are ayurvedic counterpart herbs that are most aggravating. This concept can be further expanded.

I have some other ideas. I would request the site veterans Dr. Kulkarni, sh.gavin, ms.simone and others to comment on my proposal.

If above works then a meeting ground is possible. It would also shed light on intricacies involved .Possibilities are limitless.

Kindly reply.
