I would question if the person were Bi-Polar. I would see a shrink.

Take into account 2 things then go from there, #1 Is he very preoccupied with what others think and has to keep good impression.#2Is it becoming increasingly difficult to maintain #1 based on economics and available time. What you are describing doesn,t sound at all uncommon especially if living in good old U.S.A. in 2006. Main thing no one to divide and conquer here family is a team. Adults today get very tired and become antagonistic with others and self ultimately. There is no emergency here unless someone creates one. Other professionals on this forum can recommend constitutional remedy to lift frustration.

Re: previous post let's quarantine that for a moment and maybe get other pros in here.I noticed that others have asked for all the particulars already what may escape the awares so I,ll point it out is that their is a preoccupation growing within said patient that must be addressed. We are all diversified in business hence the term to mind ones' own business and a family is a family but metaphorically speaking also business. This patient lives to succeed and that portion of business called family has gone flat for him, feels ineffectual there, doesn,t know why ,to seek out individual answers and he said she said approaches is good for therapists pocket book but that is about it.The man is running an imaginary competition against an ideal self which cannot exsist in reality because will always up the anti (so to speak )on himself. When correct remedy is prescribed he can test it by immersing himself back into family and interact happily ,effectively, but not and I repeat not begrudgingly.

Hi me again I hope doc Deoshlok was able to help you. Just posting to say I wish everyone well. I myself don,t have enough experience yet to suggest remedies and I assure you that they do infact work but diagnosing is EXTREMELY complicated work as I have had to find out the hard way. My views above are perceptions(suggestions of things to POSSIBLY look for) and have potentially no basis in reality as I am attending to my own ongoing Psychosis. Trying to be helpful that is all and thought I saw some familiar symptoms in your initial post. Good Luck.
