Stinky...really stinky cat

I have a 6 or so year old Orange cat, rescued from abandonment 3 years ago. He has always hunted, vigorously, and eaten what he catches. We live in a rural area in northern ny. I give him a good grain free, healthy food. He has a tremendous appetite and drinks a lot of water. He refuses to use his litter box and he's out to potty. Within the last 6 months or so I've noticed a horrible smell, I think it's oral and from intestinal gas.it's horrible. Did smell like sulphur last night. He only gets rabies shots but I gave him a groundwork treatment recently thinking it might be related, no help. I'm pretty sure his teeth are ok.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him Sulphur 30 twice a day for 3 days and see how that affects.
If this doesn't help give Merc Sol 30 and Nux Vomica 30 one by one in the same way.

Add 2 drops or pills to some water and give few sips as one dose. You may also put it directly in mouth if you could do that.
