Need help - suffering severe anxiety (homeopath I saw may have been a scam)

Hello,

I am a 30yr old female. I recently went to see a homeopath and have been having some trouble - is there anyone who could please give me some advice?

I contacted this homeopath because he was the country coordinator of a homeopathy course of quite a famous global institution (it's important to note that I live in a region where homeopathy is still quite new and there aren't many clinics). He charged me 4 times what a medical doctor charges in the country for a consultation, took all my personal information, had the consultation in his house and gave me barely any guidance. I have been chasing him recently for follow up and he's just always travelling or doesn't contact me when we are supposed to have a call. Meanwhile my symptoms have become really intense... I can't seem to reach him for something to treat (at least in the acute)..

He initially prescribed me Pulsatilla. After taking it for a month (200c a week) my initial symptoms were going away and new ones in its place. It has been about 2 months since I stopped the pulsatilla - I am not sure when I will next get a remedy - is this normal treatment?

I am recently suffering from quite severe anxiety, to the extent that it is troubling my life.. I have massively noticeable trembling, fast speech and palpitations (sometimes from mild excitement but the physical symptoms are very strong), inability to move past things that have occurred (repetitive thoughts), I am suffering severe night sweats which is very difficult, performance anxiety, and there is even a massive social anxiety which has intensified..

Is there anyone who can advise me on something which may help?

Thank you.

- Anxiety(with trembling – 1 year); Stage fright anxiety – (since approx. age of 9)
- Asthmatic wheezing and cough (after a cold will get a cough) – chronic bronchitis (more than 10yrs) – always comes with change of weather (worse from cold wet weather)
- hidradenitis suppurativa – bikini area localisation (1.5 years)
- mild persistent acne (face, cheeks, upper back, buttocks) – since age 13
- cracking dry lips (especially middle of bottom lip) (since approx. age 9, worsens in autumn/winter/spring – better in summer)
- Mastitis of the breast (started in 2013 – right breast only – was given progesterone gel – didn’t work – first time I then went to see a homeopath – was given Calc Carb (I think – homeopath made no record) – immediate reaction – liquid coming from ears, eyes, nose; diarrhoea and nausea – mastitis vanished overnight and didn’t return until 2016 – both breasts and not as severe)
- Gastroenteritis – chronic – 5 years

Other symptoms:
- fear of the dark – (since very young )
- likes to be alone – in room – not averse to company but like solitude (since childhood)

- being misunderstood

16. Important Question.
Current and previous remedies/medicines you are taking or took in the past?
Medicines:
- have taken Roaccutane on a very low dose (30mg once per week for 6 months – taken Oct 2014-March 2015)
- took Rifadin for one month (to treat hidradenitis suppurativa) – temporary relief

- Beclometasone for asthma – age 12 (used for 1 year) – then Ventolin as required (not used often)
Remedies:

19. Important Question.
Mind-behavior, anger, irritability, hurry,
impatient…and so on.. How are you different from other persons, public speaking or not, you can describe all of the details about your behaviour, love and affections.
- The main issue is that I shake – very, very noticeably – this will transfer into a shaking in the voice (this even happens when singing) – my whole body takes a sort of adrenalin rush that makes hiding it impossible; most of the time I am completely aware that the physical symptoms are excessive but I cannot stop them.

- Cycle average: 29days
- Duration avg: 5-6 days
- Heavy flow first 2-3 days, then very light
- Very regular – strong cycle (only disturbed during the Roaccutane treatment – returned to normal as soon as I stopped the medication – even then only irregular by 3-4 days)
- Painful 1 day before menses and first 2 days of menses – painful cramping in abdomen and upper thighs – can’t handle the cold – need warmth and intense pressure to relieve cramps – this has worsened since taking the Pulsatilla
Any monthly cycle issues? Regular, early, late, before problems, after problems,
pain, any other discharges?

22. Are you pregnant? If yes, please give pregnancy start date? Any current issues?

What about your digestion history??

Constipation/acidity issues.

Mostly Everything starts with stomach issues/improper digestion/incorrect diet.

What about your digestion history??

Constipation/acidity issues.
I have acidity issues, just before the Pulsatilla treatment acid reflux would come up, that has stopped now.
My stomach is loud, when hungry and after eating even louder when digesting.

I have a fast metabolism and have diarrhoea almost daily since moving to this region.

I eat a lot of starchy food, I crave potatoes, cheese and fried foods
I will eat vegetables but there is never "desire"..

Vegetables, especially tomatoes, can make my stomach troubles much worse..

Constipation has happened occasionally but it's not something that I usually suffer from - very very rare..

You have excess of pitta (fire) in you.

Pitta people are never constipated and suffer from ill effects of excess heat in body.

Diarrhoea, acidity, feverish, anger, impatience, irritable. ...and many others.

Check your prakriti at holistic online.com under ayurveda section and report your scores.

Ayurveda will heal all your imbalances addressing the root cause.

Hi,

ok thank you very much for that, I am sure my diet is not helping at all. I couldn't find the link for prakriti..

But since I have started homeopathy and have had good results in the past, for now I'd really like to see if the pulsatilla in that dosage was correct, whether I should move on to a new remedy...

I am willing to change dietary habits along with homeopathic treatment

Check and report scores.Diet changes will go a long way in healing you.

Tomato increases pitta (fire) so does spicy foods/meat

Hi reb25,

Please take Anacardium Orientale 200C, 4 drops mixed in 2 sips of mineral water, 1 time a day, for 3 days.

Also, get hold of Ignatia Amara 200C and Agnus castus 1m, for later use.

Many prayers for you.

Hi Nawazkhan,

Thank you very much for the above. I completely forgot to mention that I took Ignatia 30c and 200c in large amounts in September 2015 to deal with the passing of someone close. I may have taken large amounts for about 10 days during that period (this was before the Pulsatilla treatment and the majority of the medicinal treatment listed above) - I don't know if that changes anything...

Hello Teupne,

Thank you for the link, I have done the test and below are my scores:

Vata 47
Pitta 40
Kapha 14
Predominant Dosha: Vata and Pitta

Would you mind explaining what this means?

"- I don't know if that changes anything..."
No change required at this time.

More prayers.....

The scores show relative proportion of five great elements in you.space air fire water earth.rarer to denser.

We are born with unique fixed proportions of these elements.Disease results when their relative proportions are imbalanced.

I would have expected pitta to be foremost (fire plus some water) in your constitution with acidity diarrhoea and all.

Nevermind lower kapha (earth plus water) means you are light weight lack stability peace love etc.

Pitta are addicted to intensity vata (air and space) addicted to pain control.

Anyway there is a long list of associated traits which you can check online.it covers all from size of your lips to your mode of thinking. You would be pleasantly surprised if you understood these elements and their influence on your each aspect.

What is your height/weight?

Cold is better or worse? (Cold worse for vata best for pitta)

Spicy /hot food (good for vata bad for pitta)

Vata cold to touch.

Pitta hot to touch.

You are never constipated means pitta excess.also acidity.

All in all seems pitta excess.

Bitter taste/herbs balance pitta.

How about bitter taste? ?

List out your food preferences that are good for you and worst for you.

Aloe Vera and triphla can be started. They would detox the body and restore digestion.Good for long term use.

Thank you Teupne, I will research some more to get a better understanding.

What is your height/weight?
Height: 5ft3"
Weight: 51kg

Cold is better or worse? (Cold worse for vata best for pitta)
- worse, all symptoms are aggravated by cold, wet weather (also when there is a lot of grey sky I will suffer from low energy) - better for sun and warmth

Spicy /hot food (good for vata bad for pitta)
- I really enjoy spicy food, but they move through my digestive system quickly (often causing diarrhoea which may sting)

Vata cold to touch.
Pitta hot to touch.
- extremities are cold
- the core is hot though, and my partner says I "radiate heat" when asleep

Bitter taste/herbs balance pitta.

How about bitter taste? ?
- i don't have a bitter taste, it is more "musky" I suppose

Food preferences:
- i like potatoes, pasta, bread - often when sick these would be what I go to (but warm - I don't like cold foods as much - especially if unwell)
- milk, dairy, eggs - desire, especially cheese
- cakes and sweet foods (either have strong desire for, or no appetite at all for)
- tomatoes can cause diarrhoea, and quinoa is not digested properly - causes intense diarrhoea
