End stage open angle glaucoma

I am myself an ophthalmologist. My father was complaining of decreased vision in both eyes 15 years back. Got operated for cataract in one eye with some improvement. I saw him in 2005 and found advanced open angle glaucoma. His pressure has been under control since then but vision went on decreasing. He is now almost blind. Age 75. Constitutionally weak. Always had poor digestion. Susceptibility to cold. Short sleeper. Active. Recently diagnosed Hypertension. Otherwise healthy. Family history of glucoma present.
Can some expert kindly opine whether any treatment can help.

Dear erpo,

You may want to use edit button at bottom of your post. Insert dr mohla in your headline so he can see it.

Dr mohla is a homeopath dr.(user name akshaymohl) who has expertise in eye problems. He is not on here every day though.
