question for Namaste

Hi Namaste, I had posted a few months back about my dog being fear aggressive. I followed ur advice and started with Thuja and he actually has responded a little bit to it. WE could get him to stop barking at dogs. Before we couldnt do it.

Unfortunately last month we moved houses so that didn't help, but also on someone else's advice we got a new puppy just 3 weeks back. Initially my dog was aggressive, but in the last 4days I have seen a new life in my dog (he's around 10 yrs). He has again become playful, enjoys chewing his chew toys etc etc and actually loves all the licks the puppy gives him. Yesterday night my dog actually went up to the puppy and cuddled along with him.

Anyways now my question. My puppy has been diagnozed with Coccidia parasite. Because of it his stools are watery, mucous and occasionaly having blood. The doctor gave him antibiotics, but still after 3 weeks his stools haven't improved. he is 3.5 mths old and as soon as he eats he does an enormous amount of poop which I safely assume is that it's all the food he just ate. Is there any homeopathic remedy or home remedy which can help his bowels.
thanks in advance

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
just to add. As such he eats normally, is drinking water normally, already loves his walks (Golden Retriever), plays a lot and we play with him in the evenings and dedicate all our time on him on our weekends. He get's sudden and loud hiccups which go away in 2 minutes. Lots of grumbling sounds in his stomach. Also his hair is not that shiny or silky as most of other Golden Retrievers I have seen. It feels very dry.
I have managed to get him to understand not to poop in the house. Urine part still taking time. As such he responds and shows intelligence when we train him for commands like sit, stay etc.

What are you feeding him?

Sulphur is good for restoring lusture to the coat, prevents fleas, boosts the immune system, heals many skin conditions. These animals are hot and prefer cool weather and cool surfaces to lie on like tiled floors or cement. They tend to have dry skin, dandruff, and skin irritations.

Psorinum animals are oily, smelly, and chilly.

These two remedies could be used at a later point but for the coccidia here is what the book Every day Homeopathy for Animals says:

-Bloodstained droppings which are loose and slimy accompanied by straining: Mercurius Corrosivus 30C. Dose 3 x daily for 5-7 days.

Ipecac 30C-Works well in cases of coccidosis and is useful for controlling hemorrhage. Dose 3 x daily for 5-7 days.

China 6C-This remedy acts as a good tonic. Dose 3 x daily for 3-5 days.

Have a look at the Merc viv and the China is a must since he is a puppy because it will cure and or prevent dehydration.

If he is on the proper diet, being natural, raw homemade, it should take him a fair amount of time to poop out that meal. Dogs tend to eat and poop out the previous meal. One in one out so to speak. If he is eating and pooping that meal out, toom soon and undigested that means he is not digesting/absorbing his food. From obvious worm infestation.

Pick him up a good probiotic from your local health food store as well. It will put back the good guys in his intestines that the antibiotcis kill. A must.

thanks again for reply
I'll read on the things you have suggested and try them out.
I did read your article on feeding pets and loved it. Unfortunately being a pure veg. from birth, it's hard for me see and have meat in the house. After trying out 6-7 good brands of natural dry pet food on my older dog, the one which really bought the best out of him I have provided the same to this guy. But right now he is on Medical, because the vet has asked to do so because of his problem. Also I have given to both of them cottage cheese, yogurt, organic carrots, organic cucumbers, organic celery ( my older dog loves these things and seeing him this little guy eats them too).
Lot's of chew toys to chew on. Some older leather shoes and sandals to destroy.
as a veg. subsitute if you can give me some guidance regarding what to feed these guys, it would help me a lot.

Anything raw is good and dogs require less meat than cats. Try and incorporate into his diet the coconut oil as well. Olive and fish oil too. Would you be willing to feed him canned salmon? Say 1/2 a can or less 2-3 times per week. It is rich but so good for them.

I cannot stress enough the imporatance of raw meaty bones. Could you handle giving your dogs a marrow bone or knuckle bone. Keeping it wrapped, handling it with surgical gloves, tossing it in the yard and be done with it? I stress this because it is the best source of calcium for them thus preventing hip displaysia and arthritis. Cleans the teeth as well thus preventing tooth and gum disease thus preventing heart problems.

Bone chewing allows them to work their neck, jaw and shoulder muscles, relieves their stress and helps them concentrate on working for their food.

Cocconut oil not only heals just about anything it makes the coat glossy and stops 90% of shedding.

As for your other dog, if the Thuja helped a bit and you still feel it may need to do some more work, I suggest repeating that dose.

I can provide them marrow bone or knuckle bone (as you said in the yard)

Oils no problems. Should they be given daily??? and what quantity.

I'll repeat the dose for my other dog. One thing which I did notice was, though I could quiten him down around other dogs, but he seems to have got more moles on this tummy area after taking the dose.

Thanks
