The ABC Homeopathy Forum

1 month old with GER

My third son us just over one month old. He is breastfed. He was happy and nursed good in the beginning. However at only a few days old I noticed he had very bad breath.. Not like soured milk.. More like a poopy smell. He also was extremely noisey when he was sleeping .. Much more than my other two (one if which had very bad GERD). He made a lot of throaty noises.
At 3 1/2 weeks he started getting fussy at evening feedings. Arching away from the breast and sucking a few sucks then crying out over and over. I am pretty sure he has GER AS it has gotten worse. His pediatriton was ready to put him on a reflux medicine but I turned get down ..hoping to find a safer alternative.
So far he nurse's well during the day and doesn't reject eating until the evening or night time .. Which is when he takes crying fits. He cannot sleep laying down and seems to need to be held a lot for comfort. I can tell he is quite uncomfortable. If anyone has
Any remedies to help please let me know.
