The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Dr. Sameervermani (Psoriasis patient Needs Help)

Dear Sameer

I am a patient of psoriasis for last 25 years and have discovered this forum just last week. I am really impressed with the help that some of the doctors/homeopaths are offering to the patients with various deseases. I have seen few cases of psoriasis that you have cured and i feel that you may help me in getting rid of this desease.

I also found the below Q&A from the forum and tried to give answers to the questions. Your advise will be of great help.

Patient ID: Sex: Male Age:38

Please see below answers to the questionnaire

1. Describe your main suffering?
Psoriasis - Spread all over the body. However, more on Head, Lower part of legs, behind ears, forehead and some spot on other parts of the body. It is increasing now a days and covering more parts of the body.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

None

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

Nothing.... just that I don't feel confident due to my disease. I feel that stress factor sometime aggravates the problem.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

I feel like heat is coming out of my body. I try to hide myself from others. Become careless. Show lack of confidence during that time.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

26 year ago. It can't connect it to any past event or disease. However, one thing that I may associate it with is that during that time when it started my siblings had the chicken pox and I survived from it somehow. It was back in 1991. Since chicken pox can spread quickly, my parent sent me to my grandparents place to come only after my siblings get cured from it. Another thing was that during that time I have eaten lots of dry fruits.
When I came back home from my grandparents, My father noticed some spot on my back and then consulted a dermatologist who diagnosed it as psoriasis. He gave me some ointments to be used externally. However, fortunately for me he never used any steroid. I used allopathic for about 9-10 years and then started using homeopathy. Since 2000 I am using homeopathy continuously. I have noticed good improvement in phases with homeopathy but the disease has a tendency to relapse every 4-5 month. Yet I feel that homeopathy is the right treatment for this disease. I remember in 2003 one of the homeopath has given me some steriod as well. Other than that I have not used steriod at all.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

It is not very clear. But I think I feel a little more uncomfortable during evening.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

Warm clothing, Dust, Spicy foods etc.. Aggravates my problem.
Important to note one thing that during last 3-4 years I have been noticing that it started aggravating during weather changes and especially during winter i.e. it start popping up from September and then keep on increasing upto June/July and after that it start getting reduced during hot weather.
8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
No

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
As explained in point No. 7, I feel that I starts aggravating during cold weather.
Though I always feel that Psoriasis got better during humidity but I would like to state here that I am allergic to humidity. During humid weather especially in rain I got allergic asthma which some time became so severe that I cannot breathe without taking the inhaler.
I have shifted to Riyadh last year and since then I don'tt have this complaint as the humidity level in Riyadh is very low.
