Constant Nasal Discharge

About 3 months ago while lying face down in bed, I felt discharge from my nose and woke up thinking it was a nosebleed. It was clear watery "fluid" coming from my left nostril only. I have no other discomforts, no headache, no face pain, nothing.
a)drains more when I "look down" or bend to pick up something.
b)not as bad when sitting still. '
c)no change in sleep pattern but cannot lie face down due to CONSTANT drainage. No recurring dreams
d)not sensitive to heat/cold or criticism from others
e)my usual state of mind is easygoing, friendly and kind but a bit impatient
f)no aversion/desires to any particular foods.
g)I take norvasc 5mg and dyazide 37.5 mg for hypertension (not new meds).
h)no previous homeopathic treatment but willing to follow directions.
i)only other physical discomfort is pain to right heel for past year. Worse in morning.
I have seen my doctor and taken zyrtec, nasocort, benadryl, saline nose sprays, allegra, all at different times in past several months with no relief. This does not "feel" like allergies as I don't cough or sneeze or have watery eyes. It's just my left nostril that drains constantly. Please help. Thanks.

symptoms show phosphorous characteristics----seem steroid use possibly envolved in past health history --hypertension meds may have envolvement in symptoms exhibited also...

what skin conditions have or had in past?how treated?when (date)?

when diagnoised with hypertension?what symptoms exhibited prior to meds currently used?

Thank you for asking Mr.Stanton! I have never used steroid medicines before this. The Rhinocort nasal spray is the first, and it isn't doing any good. It's been about 1 1/2 yrs since I started needing blood pressure medicine. I am a registered nurse and work in a busy ER. One day I began with dizzyness and headache off and on for about 1 week. A blood pressure check showed 210/100 and I was started on lisinopril which gave me swelling to my lips. I was changed to dyazide and about 1 month ago added norvasc which keeps my pressure around 120/70 and I feel great(Except for this nose problem).
Right now, sitting at this computer, if I put my head downward as if looking at my stomach, it will drip. It's almost like fluid is being "held" in some space and when I bend over or lie face down, it all comes out. Like I said...I'm a nurse and when I have to look down to start an IV or put a dressing on or something like that...I have to "pack" my nostril (left one only) with tissue to be sure nothing drips out. It is really embarrasing as well as frustrating and any help/advice is appreciated.

if any association exist between hypertension treatment with allopath meds and the dripping nose--then any homopathic treatment used will be partial and possible suppressive (diverting symtoms)....recommendation is start daily use essential fatty acid supplementation ("udo's choice oil blend") ---avoid--salt;spicy foods;all carbonated soft drinks; all acidic foods and drinks (coffee;tea;vinegar ;fruits and fruit jices;tomatoes;..etc)

IMPORTANT----KEEP close contact with prescribing doc of allopathic meds---and reduce meds as blood pressure reduction occurs...

ONCE STARTING DIETARY ADJUSTMENTS MENTIONED ABOVE --ONLY THEN TAKE..

single dose (3 pellets) nux vomica 200c before bed -1 hour after last eating---the following morning single dose (3 pellets) phosphorous 30c 1 hour before eating...NO repetition of doses AT ALL...

I have purchased these items as well as the symphytum and await their arrival. I am making the dietary changes as instructed and plan to take the advised remedy's as soon as they arrive to try for some relief of this nose drip.

Ok, I took the nux vomica and phosphorus as well as the sympytum, as ordered 24 hours ago. I made the dietary changes as well. When should I start looking for an improvement in this nose drip as it is driving me nuts. I've never experienced this before and I wonder if maybe something like nasal polyps could be the problem.I have no problem breathing through my nose, never have....it's just that it drip, drip, drips.

Dr. deoshlok had advised Nit.acid..should I do that as well?

Please advise me on taking the nit acid as I should be getting it anyday now. I took the nux and phos and am still taking the sympytum nightly (a definite improvement on the heel pain!!). Maybe I should have taken the nit as well as the other remedys, but wasn't sure. Now that this drainage continues, I want to try everything advised.I meant no disrespect to deoshlok for not following his exact plan, being new to homeopathy, I didn't know if all the remedys together would be ok. I continue with the watery drip from the left nostril only and wonder what it is and how to stop it, as my nose is raw from blotting, rubbing, blowing.Even using the tissues with "lotion", it's so constant. I am at my wits end. please advise.

what changes observed after nux and phos?explain thoroughly -and include all aspects as well asmain complaint--no matter how seemingly insignifcant....

P.S.

what are blood presure characteristics /and what changes noticed? as informed if causation is due to medicine for blood pressure then will not see lasting results ..have you been inconsoltation with blood pressure prescribing doc?

I took the meds 9 days ago. The drip continues, was really bad yesterday.I came home from work and flushed both nostrils copiously with salt water and baking soda solution. Today the drip is "slower", not using as many tissues, but still there.I'm hoping the remedy is now working and it will be gone for good soon. My blood pressure remains 120-125 over 70's. I check it daily as I have since diagnosis. I have consulted with my physician regarding my dietary changes and the fact I am now trying homeopathic for relief. No "response" from her other than follow up as needed. I continue to feel fine if not for this discharge. Do I take the nit acid?? I recieved it today.

If it's important, I have been taking the same blood pressure medicines for over a year with no noted side effects.
