Frequent lice infestation in hair
My 9.5 years daughter is having lice infestation in her hair at regular intervals and we use Perlice cream on her hair to clear lice off every time infestation is there. Earlier I felt she is getting infestation from her school friends but now also during her vacation when she is not in contact with any of her friends she still got lice infestation. My question is that can lice be self generating ? Can any homeopathic doctor in this forum suggest suitable homeopathic remedy for eliminating this tendency of repeated lice infestation so that she does not catch lice infestation in future.I want to remove this infestation tendency from root.[message edited by vjhos on Tue, 09 May 2017 17:29:20 UTC]

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
The cause of this is :
A. ALL family members have to wash
All sheets,bedding,towels when a member gets this. And disinfect combs,hairbrush etc all at same time.
B. The nits have to be picked out for everyday (like a week) until there are Zero.
It is a time consuming process -that can take 2 weeks of attention. I have been thru it several times with my kids at same age. Even on vacation
From school. Thought it was gone but missed a few nits and it was back with all the washing of everything to do over again.

An external lotion prepared with 50drops of Camphora Q in 30ml mustard oil kills 90% of the lice with one application.The lotion should be applied on the hair rubbing gently.The hair should be combed about 10 miutes after placing a cloth beneath and watch dead or half dead lice and nits(eggs) falling on it,These should be destroyed by burning.This lotion should not be allowed to fall into the eyes.Then wash with soap and water after 30minutes. Another application, if needed, should be done after a week.

Are there any homeopathic remedy which could be taken to reduce the tendency towards lice infestation rather than getting infested and then killing them ? Why is it that not all kids get lice infestation but only few?
Is it related to condition of hair or scalp? Since homeopathy believes in removing the root problem I want to know any homeopathic remedy which can help to prevent lice infestation in future?

There is no preventative remedy.
It has been said that people who are in tip top health with very strong vitality do not have problems with this or bugs biting them etc.
This is a bit of a wishful fantasy as a lot of health status quo is determined by genetics. However one can improve thru eating fresh real food,
Exercise, good air and water and
A balanced life style.
Homeopathic remedies are taken for
Imbalance and illness. If you take medicine when not sick you will cause problems as the meds are intended to be a copy of the illness.
The body will not tolerate 2 of the same illness and the life force amps up from the copy(homeo med) to kick out the homeo med and the real matching illness.
