Spring water ok for alcohol based remedies?

I'm wondering how detrimental it is to add alcohol based remedies into spring water taken from a local spring instead of using distilled water. Could that nullify a remedy?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
No. Remedies have been used for over 200 years without specifying
That a certain "water" must be used.
Miranda Castro, a famous homeopath teacher, author, says she has seen remedies work fine mixed in with food.

Wow, that runs contrary to so much that I've heard. Do you think all the advice about not touching the globules and taking remedies at least a half hour before and after any food is all nonsense? I'm just curious because it would make things a lot easier to not have to worry about all that.

Thanks for your response.

I think you do not want to touch the pills in case you rub the remedy off.It makes sense to have a clean mouth for maximum absorption- but
Nothing is set in stone, as I have given remedies after injuries where
The person just had coffee and also touched pills because the container broke and they still worked.
