nat mur 10mHi I know this may be a broad question but I was wondering what sort of thing Nat Mur 10M would be used for? and how often?
I ask as a few years back I went to a homeopath and received these, I only just found them in a drawer - a packet of 4 single 10M pills and cannot remember the homeopath who gave me them. I have had many issues over the years so cannot pinpoint which for but I fit the Nat Mur personality profile almost to a T and have suffered with m.e and sickness, emotional issues and nausea for a long time. Is this what it would be used for?
Can I take them and see if they help?

Even if nat mur is correct, you would start with a 30c, or 200c
One dose and evaluate changes after two weeks. Everyone is different in how they respond and the dose and potency of the remedy are based on that.
One dose of 10m can last for a year- and when
One has too high a dose of nat mur you will feel you are in outer space and cannot get into your body . I have had two people get prescribed nat mur too high and they could not even go to work. The only thing that "antidoted"
This was getting a shiatsu massage where the spine is worked in an expert way to detox. Both were "back" to normal an hour after massage. They never wanted to use a remedy again.
There is no good reason to start that high -
See another homeopath or put your case on here.
You can google drluc.com homeopathic potency and dose to get
Common sense information.

I wonder why I was given such a high dose then, any thoughts?
I was under the impression homeopathy had no major side effects and if it was the wrong remedy it would simply do nothing?
AloeVera 6 months agoNo, not true. The correct remedy even tho it is
A highly diluted molecule of the substance,
Is to mimic the out of balance state or disease.
Homeopathy works due to the body will not accept a "second similar"
State. The body reacts to the remedy by raising life force to clear the remedy and at same time the disease/ out of balance.
The life force follows a path in doing this.
You can have aggravation of old symptoms show up and then release,
Like a domino effect. Especially in chronic cases. If potency is too high?it overwhelms this reaction and one gets " accessory symptoms" they
Never had before. Usually these wear off , but who wants to go thru that?
So while remedies are not going to cause permanent damage- like allopathic meds, what you call " side effects" can be , aggravation of old things.
Getting new things(google materia medica of any remedy and see all the symptoms ) feeling good from the remedy and then everything returns(this is often just palliating not cure and actually can start suppressing your real problems like allopathic meds.
You can read drluc.com FAQ on homeopathy- he is a retired, very famous homeopath- good basic info.
♥ simone717 6 months agoIf sensitive ( most nat mur people are) one can
Have the accessory symptoms of any remedy,
Even if wrong.

I am not a homeopath but I believe you are fortunate not to have taken the Nat Mur 10M. As Simone stated "there is no good reason to start high". In my opinion it is irresponsible, reckless and possibly dangerous to start a chronic case with a high potency remedy. I am not saying lower potency remedies are completely safe. Unnecessary repetition of any remedy remedy especially in the same potency can create problems including a proving. Follow Simone's advice and read what Dr Luc has to say about potency and dose. Also read Dr Luc's article "Selecting a Homeopath".
It has been almost 30 years since I decided to try homeopathy for the treatment of a non life threatening but uncomfortable and painful chronic condition. The first homeopath I consulted treated me mainly with 1M and 10M potency remedies. The remedies did not help my condition and caused new symptoms to develop. I eventually stopped seeing this homeopath far worse off than when I started. Since that time I have consulted a few other homeopaths but they have not been able to help me. I still have the chronic condition along with some of the new symptoms that started from the remedies the first homeopath gave me. I often wish I had never heard of homeopathy.
If you decide to try homeopathy for treating your health concerns try to follow Dr Luc's advice. It is always best to consult a homeopath face to face. Unfortunately it is not always possible to find a good homeopath where you live. Remember to avoid any homeopath who wants to start treatment with a high potency remedy and make sure the homeopath tells you the name and potency of the remedy prescribed. That way you can keep a record of the remedies you have taken.
I hope you find an answer to you health concerns and you have better luck than I have had. All the best.
