Phlegm issue
I am 48/ male from Mumbai. I am suffering from cold for last 5 days. It all started with runny nose and sneezing. But now "no" sneezes. Now I have white, thick,sticky phlegm which seems to be behind throat....and upper chest (just below neck). I need to put an effort to get this phlegm out. Slight breathing difficulty as upper chest seems full.No fever ...no throat pain...no headache...
I took ayurvedic "Sitopaladi churna" but no relief.
I request help from respected homeopaths here.
Please suggest some meds. I am from Mumbai and these days morning temp is bit dropped in this city. I leave early for wrk at arnd 7 a.m.
Please suggest meds for phlegm.

Patient name, age, from ? profession, how long patient got married, if married how many children, patient daily routine ? Any sleep disorders or foul breath now ? Any thick yellow discharges , boils , open infections .. now ? how long patient suffering from this problem ? Any fever or coughing now ? what kind of pain (symptoms, sensations) patient have ? Any cold or congestion feeling in head, watery discharges, Sun sensitivity or cold sores now ?? When symptoms / suffering / pains etc aggravates and when ameliorates ? do you have swollen hands or feet , foul smelling gasses ? Any light sensitivity ? Sweaty hands or feet ? Do you feel pronounced weakness in body ?? Thick yellow discharges, changing symptoms now ?

I will try to answer your questions for better diagnoses.
I am Manish,male,age 48 staying in Mumbai. I am in Marketing profession. The firm which I work for us in industrial machinery products manufacturing. So basically we sell these products. My job is managerial kind for last 10 yrs or so where I oversee team sales activities.
Married ---for last 19 yrs
1 son ...age 15 yrs.
Nature of my job is managerial where I am not on field always. Its office job now...so to say.
I am suffering from this "phlegm" issue from last 5 days details of which you have seen in earlier post.
It started with runny nose and sneezing bouts. But now no sneezes. I am having sticky, thick, white phlegm which seems to have lodged behind throat and upper chest area below neck.
I have no fever,no headache or no throat pain.
I feel slight breathing difficulty due to this phlegm.
I dont have any habit as such of eating junk or fried food. I try to be in limits regarding food. My height is 5'11 and weight is arnd 73kgs generally. Normal weight.
I used to smoke but quit itconsciously 14 yrs back. I drink alchohol arnd 5 to 8 times in a year ...just at some function etc.
No swollen hands/ feet..
No gases...
No food favourites as such. I veg prefer veg food though I eat non veg 3 times in week.
Curd rice is my favorite food. No special liking as such towards any salty or sweet food.
I am generally thirsty everytime. Consume generally more water and it makes me feel better.
Ifeel hot in body but not much. Yes...i perspire more on my forehead/ neck. region.
I have no blood pressure issue....no sugar issue and my cholesterol limits seem healthy. Last blood work done in october shows no issues.
I do low intensity cardii for arnd 45 min ...4 days a week.
I had used homeopathy meds previously for ear infection issue through this forum.
Respected doctor Mohla cured me with Merc sol and calc carb within 15 days. The issue was foul ear discharge.
Doctor...I feel these answers would help you in prescribing me the meficine.

Try kali.phos .. one dose only. 4 drops a day only for two days only. In a disposable glass with some water in it after two hours of dinner.
Don't use coffee or mint etc. Don't eat or drink anything before or after 30 minutes of taking medicine. Don't place medicine near strong perfumes etc.

Ok...Dr! I will take Kali phos 200c as advised ...2 hrs post dinner...4 drops in some water taken in disposable glass. So I will take this for two days and report further....

I am feeling better...but phlegm still remains. Its now yellow and sticky. But I should say....it's 40-50% relief. Also once a small pellet size "hardened phlegm" was thrown out/discharged through mouth while coughing up.
Nose is still blocked. No headache..or...throat pain. No fever symptoms.
Also I noted that...in these 2 days...I have felt remarkable relaxation in body muscles....more so...on skin. It's like sort of...some stress in body...which I was not aware of....disappearing. Its a good..calm sort feeling.
Yes...the phlegm issue remains....
So shall we wait more...give meds the time?? Please suggest...

Doctor... my issue of phlegm still remains. I still have the cold though the nose isnt runny. Phlegm is yellowish and loose and seems to be accumulated in upper chest and throat. Breathing is an issue... especially more so....while taking stairs. I need to keep mouth bit open to facilitate some extra bit of air. Can't breath/inhale fuller.
Yes...the phlegm many a times suddenly comes/ throws up into throat and mouth as it is loose.
Any medicines doctor???...

Just throw phlegm out every time .. Don't let it go back again .. it will create a big problem ..
Try Tuberculinum 200c one dose only in a separate disposable glass with some water in it.
Update after 4 days. And throw phlegm out every time.

As instructed earlier...I had taken only one dose of Tuberculinum 200c 3 days back. So just to update you....I am feeling quite well. The phlegm has subsided to great extent. I am feeling almost 90% better....to put it in words.
The breathing has also become quite smooth and fuller....
So...further ..should I take any more medicine for this?? Is any more dose...or...some other medicine needed??
