Long masturbation history, need advice
Dear Homoepath,Age: 30
I want to state my condition and want your opinion on how to proceed with my life especially marriage.
I started masturbating at around 16-17 years of age. I'm not exactly sure but I think I masturbated about 3-4 times a week till the age of 26-27 years. I always thought I'm not doing it in excess and I'm fine until I started noticing symptoms of weak erection, low sexual desire and all that. Around 26-27 years of I started feeling guilty about this habit and tried hard to gave up this habit.
Eventually, I gave up masturbation on 7 March, 2016 completely (thanks to NoFap reddit) and stopped watching any kind of porn, sexual images, etc. Basically, cut off from all kind of sexual triggers.
Over the years,
My face also has become dull due to this habit and my eyes are deep and sunken.
My work capacity has reduced and ability to think deep (I'm programmer) has definitely been affected by this habit.
My skin has earthly complexion, dry and looks like of old person. Overall, I look thin, unhealthy. My height is 5'9.5" and weight is 76kg.
From March-July 2016, I joined gym did workout 6 days a week. Then stopped and did again for two months from Dec 16-Jan 17. However, I noticed my strength wasn't increasing and also I was sweating a lot more than the other guys in the gym.
From March 17, I have been going to morning walk/jog (about 4-5kms) approx 5 times a week. Eating good diet including fruits, vegetables, dry fruits, eggs, whole grains, home made lentils/sabji, milk / curd, etc. No junk food.
Now, I have following issues
- not able to get erection on my own or very weak erection
- from the past six months or so my urine has been cloudy, frequent urination, some times feel pain around groin area
- low confidence, hair fall
- night fall approx once a month
- lower back pain on doing light physical work
- have noticed semen after bowel movement 5-7 times during past six months
- excessive sweating on slight physical work, night sweats when sleeping in quilt
- overall very disappointed with myself and what I have done to my life
For past year or so I have been avoiding marriage proposals as I know about my physical health. I want to discuss about this with my parents but before that I want to know what my options/chances of recovery are and how much time should I give myself to be able to marry.
I really want to improve and lead a successful married life even if that means I will have to wait for years.
Thanks
