Dr Basu...please help..My Husband is going crazy
My husband is aged 39...Have tinnitus since Feb 2018...There is no hearing loss..Is there a permanent cure in homeopathy???Can the medicines be taken in 6c potency for an year ...May be one and a half year because my husband had a lot of problem with potnecy 200 and above when he was prescribed medicines for Eustachian tube blockage...pls answer whether the intensity of the sounds can be reduced or the sounds will be permanently blocked if the medicines are continued for a long time

Symptoms gets aggravated after taking medicines.....There was a relief for two months.......From third month onwards no relief....Only aggravtion

Occupation -Running boys hostel
Present Complaint - Noises in left year
Started with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction.
During the clearance of blockage on 22nd day felt tinnitus symptoms
Graphites 200
Chin sulph 30
Chenpodium 30..got significant relief but after 40 days aggravation started ...Again for some relief in between...Again during a period of 45 days doctor prescribed 1000
Symptoms worsened when he stopped chin sulph and chenopodium.
Prescribed Sepia 1m...pulstailla 1m..Sulphur 200...lachesis 200...Relief for two days...After 2 days noises increase
Major past medical history - left leg operated in 2000...Gall bladder removed in 2008 due to gall stones
Major paternal family history - Father was diabetic and died of heart attack
Mother at present suffering from Systemic Sclerosis
Thirst - too much
Drink Craving - shakes like chocolate and mango shake
Drink liking - cold
Drinking Pattern - Large quantity of water
Appetite - good
Food Craving - Mutton Biryani
Food that I don't like - curd and capsicum
Food/drink causing discomfort - as such there no food...Just curd which I cannot touch and smell
Reaction towards fasting - don't like it...Cannot bear hunger
Need stimulants like tea/ coffee - no
Flatulence - very little
Eructation - very little
Sleep - good
Frequent Dreams - no frequent dreams..Keeps day dreaming to be of the ministers in India
Feeling after sleep - feels fresh
Time feeling sleepy - night
Sweating - normal
Perspiration - causes discomfort
Stool - normal ( constipated ..Stool not hard )
Urination - frequent
Reaction towards
Noise - annoying
Crowd - annoying
Food odour - love it
Sun heat - annoying
Darkness - normal reaction

On going some new place - like it

Give,
Single dose of phosphorus 200c
(2 drops or 4 globules directly on tongue)
Do not give phosphorus for more than 1 day
From 3rd day start giving kali mur 6x 4 tablets 3 times a day
Reply after 3 days
Avoid camphor, coffee, garlic, mint, perfumes..
Do not take any other homoeopathic medicine along with this.
Please do not take anything 20 min before and after the medicine.

Dear Sakshi,
First of all I want to disclose the fact that tinnitus is a symptom of any underlined cause such as head injury, sudden exposure to loud sound,circulatory disease or hevy ear-wax.
So please let me know when it first happened?

My husband travelled for first time by flight in November 2017...His ears started paining while landing
In another 10 days his Euatachian tube was blocked
We started the homeopathic treatment in Feb 2018...When the Eustachian tube was getting cured he felt tinnitus symptoms ...

He got significant relief in another 50 days...
Doctor was transferred ..
He took treatment from another doctor
She stopped chin sulp and chenopodium
And started giving single remedy like
Since then there is no relief...
Lastly she prescribed Lachesis 200..It gave relief for just days...Sounds decreased by a big margin....Third day again the noises increases

It seems to me the best option for you is to visit the first doctor at his new place.
Second option is stop all homeopathic medicine right now.
Wait for another 7 days.and feedback thereafter.
