Thyroid Condition

Hello,

I found a dog who is about 8 years old. The vet I went to said his blood work is in the grey area for a thyroid condition so he is taking .8 of his meds 2x a day. He is almost bald, rat tail, coarse hair and so on. He is old arthritic and has many fatty cysts... I would like to know what the best kind of diet would be for him to help him feel better. I can see a big difference already from the meds, but I would like to do more if possible. I read about Calcarea Carb, can I give him this along w/ his Metacam (for arthritis) and Thyroid medicine. His stomach is very saggy, not fat, saggy...
