5 yo vomiting

Daughter started vomiting early this morning. When woke up, complained of stomach ache but I didn't think it was serious. shortly after, she threw up. Tried applesauce for breakfast but threw that up too.

Any advice would be appreciated.

thank you,
Tina

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
what other symptoms observed?

what was occuring just prior?

May be due to slight inflammation of the stomach. If it is persistent contact the nearby physician.

No other symptoms. It happened first at 5 AM so she was sleeping and I think her belly ache woke her up. What came up, oddly enough, was mostly salad stuff (sprouts, dried cranberries, spinach). She had a special treat of PB & J for dinner (a special treat in our home since it is not that healthy) but no one else seemed to have a problem. I didn't eat one since i am gluten intolerant.

Any thoughts?

She vomited 3 times: 5 AM, 7 AM and 8 AM (after eating some applesauce.

She seems chipper-er than when she awoke. I gave her a cup of chamomile/lavender tea about 30 min ago which seemed to stay down. Now she is sipping some brown rice broth.

Her attitude was the same yesterday - she's pretty obvious when she is ill.

She is thirsty, drinking water a lot but not hungry - turned down toast for breakfast (she loves toast!) but she is drinking the broths I have given her with no problems yet. How long do I wait before trying a remedy (which remedy?)?

Thanks so much Mr. Stanton.

allow this to pass without any meds or remedies--unless of course gets serious (more vomiting and other accompanying symptoms)--if good after 2-3 days----then give her single dose (2 pelets) calcarea phosphoricum 30c...one dose only..

best all acidic fods and drinks from diet (coffee;all teas;all carbonated soft drinks;vinegar;pickled foode;fruits and fruit juices;..etc) for a while...then reintroduce only fruits--back after 2 weeks taking calc-p.....not heavy use--enough for nutition..

also reduce sweet intake---unprocessed honey and 100% pure maple syrup--use only hese for awhile..

if anything else crops up --report back--anything atall..
