Severe Insomnia-Please Help!
I have been having very severe sleep onset insomnia lately. My insomnia problems starting last September on the first day of school. I think it's due to anxiety, but it becomes a viscous cycle. I can't fall asleep in 2 hours, so, I start to get extremely anxious about that, to the point of hysterics. I'm home from school today, because the past two nights I couldn't fall asleep until 2-2:30 in the morning, and I don't have enough energy to drag myself in this morning.I've tried: Melatonin, Valerian, Coffea, Ignatia, Arnica, Arsenicum Album, and there's probably some I've forgotten.
Please help! When this starts happening, my life starts falling apart, and start getting pretty depressed, and extremely tired all the time.
Thanks in advance for suggestions!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It starts off as anxiety about various school projects, as well as all the lines I'm trying to learn for a play etc. But then it progresses into anxiety about falling asleep, and what tomorrow will be like if I don't get to sleep and what if I don't sleep at all tonight, what if I have this issue forever.....
I know it's kind of silly, but I guess at night when I'm so over tired, I kind of lose my grip on everything.
