Tooth trauma

I need some help - please!!!
While I was biting on a large piece of ice, I got an immediate sharp pain going upwards. I aggravated the situation by pressing on it during the night because that relieved the throbbing pain. I took a 30c remedy of hypericum and the pain has subsided. But from pressing on it, the next morning, my check was very swollen. It is slightly painful to the touch under my cheekbone and my lower jaw. It is also hot to the touch. I really don't see any signs of abcess nor is there any unsual taste or odors in my mouth. I kept a cold compress on it for the swelling which seemed to have aggravated the situation. Swelled more. This morning, I took a 30c dose of merc, no changes yet. I don't really have any tooth pain just the swelling and still slight pain to the touch under cheekbone. Any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated

Hi John!

Thanks for responding so quickly.

It is my upper left lateral incisor. I haven't had any dental work on it. However, the next incisor did have root canal many years ago. I have no tooth pain, just some pain at touch about an inch above the incisor. I haven't taken any medications at all in many years, not even over the counter drugs. I do, however, drink a daily cup of 'Daily DeTox' organic herbal tea which contains many herbs.

The only staphysagria I have on hand is 30c. I can take that now or in the morning get the 200c.

I really don't have any constant pain just swollen and as stated before, only at pressure. Eating is also no problem, hot or cold. But, I will say, I am being very careul and chewing on the opposite side of my mouth.

Any inupt is certainly greatly appreciated!

stop the detox tea for now..some herbs affect..also 2 peelets single dose of 30c good start--if rightresponse then can get 200c...letme know response...you can take it now..

also after this settles may nee consider sul or calc--not sure at this time---but some of this shows other complaint exist...or possible just dox herbs showing certain symptoms...

I thought about it further and after drinking my morning tea, my face definitely did become more inflamed and hot to the touch. As the day passed the heat from my swollen cheek disappeared.

I took the 30c. Seems like the right response. Swelling has subsided somewhat, so I will followup in the morning with 200c.

I will certainly let you know tomorrow how everything progresses.

I sincerely thank you for your caring responses. May God bless you!

Hi John,

A success! Swelling all gone!

Should I followup with anything else? A little sensitive to touch on my cheek about an inch above the incisor. But no real pain.

Feeling great!

Sorry took so long! Had a very busy day!!!!

It is just a little sensitive against the jaw bone. But lessening rapidly. I tried my best to look at it. Nothing much to see. I guess it is just sore from the trauma. No sign of any infection or swelling inside the mouth.

Truly getting back to normal. Like I said just a little sore.

You have been a lifesaver!!! I truly thank you!!!!!
