Lump on arm

My 27 yr old son yesterday suddenly got a severe pain in his left arm near about the elbow joint. by evening I noticed a lump on his arm, frontal portion of the elbow towards the upper side. This is aching a lot. I gave himArnica 30 to no avail. Then this morning thought that it may be the start of a boil and gave him Echinacea Q, 10 drops. He has gone to office now.
His head also sweats a lot at night especialy if its hot but even in winter and has lost a lot of his hair. The rest of his body doesnt sweat so much.
Help!!

Dear Doctor, he was given Calc Carb 200 quite a few times, last being sometime in February. It did not help him in his head sweats. As he wears hearing aids, his sweat harms them in the daytime. Any other remedy??
Yes Calc helped him in his cough which is a tickling one. his throat tickles and he coughs. Now it is much better. It also seems that the Echinacea helped his lump. The pain is a lot better though the lump is still there.
Thank you for your quick reply.
