Arsenic Album

I suffer from asthma, nasal polyps and quite a few other things. Whilst reading up on homeopathic remedies, I found that Arsenic Album seemed to cover a lot of things that I suffer from, and also it suited my personality type, as it is at the minute.
The question I have is, what dosage do I use? I got the 30c,and the info it gives is 2 pillules to be taken every two hours for six doses and then 4 times daily for up to five days until symptoms improve.
I wondered if this is the correct amount to take as it seems rather a lot and a book I have says only to take one a day, so now I'm worried I'll take too many and as it is arsenic I wouldn't want to do that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Jennie

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you think that most of your symptoms are covered by this medicine then at the most one dose daily is sufficient.

There isn't any material arsenic left in the homeopathic formulation, so don't worry about arsenic toxicity. Do, however, take the minimal dose so you do not cause any temporary aggravations.

This is the case of a 9 year old boy who was a chronic Asthmatic who after using many drugs including inhalers for many years and more recently Homeopathic remedies the mother realized that they were all only partially effective and he would wake up in the early hours of the morning gasping for breath when he would be given the inhaler by the mother.

I shall copy the prescription that I gave her below:

I have treated many cases of chronic Asthma with Nat Sulph 6c in the liquid dose which is made up as follows:

Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from your nearest supermarket.
Pour out 100ml
Drop in 3 pellets or 1 drop of liquid Nat Sulph 6c into the 400ml water
Cap the bottle tightly and succuss it 4-6 times by shaking the bottle in your hand to aerate the water.
Pour out 1 teaspoonful of the potentized remedy into half a cup of water from another bottle of the same water and stir it gently.
Sip 1 teaspoonful of the water from the cup just once daily.

You will have to stop all other medication if you wish to start on this therapy.

This remedy should be taken daily for some time in the future and you may like to know that I have many instances of adults who were chronic sufferers from Asthma for many years who do not use the remedy any more after about 4 months on this therapy. Others who were not so chronic react favourably in a few days and only use the remedy if and when necessary.

The remedy that I have used when the patient is having an acute attack ans is straining for breath is Ars Alb 200c. This remedy is taken dry and just 4 globules will suffice for a dose which may only be taken just once daily when the patient is gasping for breath. This usually clears the lungs and opens up the airways in under 20 minutes.

Report response in a week as this remedy has to be monitored in use regularly.

The boy was given the Nat Sulph 6c in the wet dose only last Saturday and he slept deeply on Saturday night and Sunday night and we hope that the curative effect will continue tonight and in the future as well.

Your case is slightly different but if you would like to treat your Asthma, Nat Sulph 6c in the Split Dose is the recommended remedy.

Your polyps can be treated later. I would not recommend that you use Ars Alb immediately as it will only help on a temporary basis while the Nat Sulph will help to cure your Asthma as it has done in the case of many of my patients.

I have recommend the use ot Ars Alb 200 in the dry dose in the event of an attack when this remedy may be used in place of the inhaler.

Thank you very much for all your replies.
I will try the Nat Sulph wet dose and see how I go.
Once again thank you!
