Hair Loss/Receding Hairline at 16

Hello, I have recently stumbled upon this site and hopefully someone here can help.

I've had bangs since I was around 8, so I don't know exactly if I have always had a receding hairline or not, but since I was 15 or 16 I have notice I am suffering from a very receding hairline. I am 17 right now. My hair loss/receding hairline is on my forehead; the center of my forehead doesn't appear to be losing hair, but it recedes on the left and right a lot. I have noticed smaller hairs are there when compared to the hairs from the center of my forehead, which are about twice as longer.

When I was 14 and 15 I used to towel dry my hair, I believe this may have been a factor to my hair loss. I have also had a pretty poor diet consisting of one or two meals a day that do not fill me up for a long while, lacking fruit/vegetables, mostly meat. I have begun to eat fruit for the past month or so.

My hair/skin where the receding is also itches. I have scratched it but have for a little bit now been ignoring it.

From reading, I think I may need to use baby shampoo and get a better diet. Is this correct? And if so, what kind of diet should I have? Thanks.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Also, in the past year my doctor diagnosed me with constipation. I don't know if this is a related factor but I figure I might as well say that also
