Mother wanting to wean

I have a two year old that I have been trying to wean for about a year now. We are having no success and had read and heard that taking Lac Caninium will dry up mothers milk. Has anybody out there ever used it for this reason and did it work? I am at my wits end and am very interesed in any ideas or information that anyone can give me to dry up my milk in a healthy way.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
its not just a matter of drying up--it is alos comfort of child as weaning is occuring---need consider child as part of treatment,,,,

principly pulsatilla wil balance what is needd to occur,,

but need more info about mother and babe-emotion/mental/physical--just tell current stae of health for both--the more info the better,,

Yes. The comfort of my child is extremely important to me.
He is a very healthy child. Emotionally/mentally/physically. I've just never had any success teaching him to sooth himself to sleep any other way other than by nursing. I was hoping that if I could just dry up my milk than maybe it wouldn't be as soothing for him or at least maybe give him more of an appetite for real food instead of being full from milk.

ok then --if stat e of health mother and child ARE fine.? then 1 pellet pulsatilla 200c in 4 oz of water in drinking glass--stir heavy...1 teaspoon dose --no more --not all til access.discard soluiton in drinking glass-wash well..
this is to be given to mother only...if solely breast fed---at this time -then wlll qualify milk productin to what is needed----keeping this in mind it would be well for you to start introducing quality whole foods into child.s diet ---so as response is to reduce milk...no matter whatthougts are --whether prefer or not --thisis a natural biologoic function--and if child in fact is best with milk --milk prodction will not go down...so quality foods first --then take puls..all clear?questions?

also refrain from sweets and faty foods--oils;butters;..and such

p.s.

whole foods=good source/not proccessed with additives and such-----prepared in way suitable for child.

Actually he eats 3 meals and 2 snacks a day of high quality whole organic foods already. He just eats small amounts because he's always nipping off me. How should I take these pills when the child is NOT solely breast fed? I want the milk to stop producing entirely as soon as possible.
