Dandruff Problem
Hi,My wife has been having dandruff for long time. She has used a number of shampoo's both medicated and ones which claim to be anit-dandruff shampoo. But she has not been able to get rid of the dandruff.
The dandruff denisty on the scalp is on the higher side. Her scalp also perspire's a lot.
Her age is 25 years.
After delivery of our baby she has also put-on weight (96 kgs and her height is 5 feet and 7 inches).
Can any one suggest medicine for Dandruff problem?
Also is there a way in Homeopathy to reduce weight by means of medicine?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There are many remedies that can be used for Dandruff but since your wife is 96kg I believe that we should start by reducing her weight.
The remedy I have used extensively is Nat Phos 6x (biochemic cell salts) dose 2 tablets taken twice daily.
She can expect to shed her weight by 1kg per week.
She may not use coffee, cola drinks and should also actively cooperate by eating less and also exercise daily to sweat it out.

IF you give some remedy for dandruff then she will be more pegged for the weight loss treatment. :)

Nat Phos is a very shy remedy which does not help to reduce weight if other remedies are used concurrently.
She should not use any other remedy when she starts on the Nat Phos therapy and should use only Johnsons baby shampoo on her hair as it is the mildest.
It is also possible that the Nat Phos may also help her dandruff.

Well if above prescription shows no effect on dandruff then take Sulphur 200 one dose after evry 5 days.

most of the expert are taliking to take phytolacca-30 but what should be dose and when it should be taken in whole day.
what should be the food habbit, while taking all these medicine.
