Eczema's "slow and late" response to treatment, advice?

My daughter was given Sulphur 30 for three days beginning on April 5.

Since then her eczema has very very slowly gotten better.

She rarely scratches her legs anymore (some days a lot, others not at all) and her back has cleared tremendously.

Is this perhaps the Sulphur still working?

A friend told me that Sulphur works for 45 to 60 days.

Thanks for any thoughts.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Also, there was no aggravation with the Sulphur. I've read here (I think stated by kuldeep) that eczema always gets worse before it gets better.

Is that a requirement for healing?

That is not the requirment for healing. Requirement is that: either relief comes or symptoms aggravate. In other words medicine shows some effect good, bad or ugly.

Gotcha.

Do you know if it's true that Sulphur works for a longer period of time?

Why count the periods, may be it has done the final job in just first dose. Who knows? That's why it is advisable to continue the treatment.

I guess that was where my confusion stemmed. I wasn't sure if continued treatment was necessary if the Sulphur was still working.

Thanks for your input.
