alopecia areata pls help!!

Hi there, im a 20 year old male and have alopecia areata. When i was 17... and in grade 12.. I randomly developed a bald spot on my head and it was diagnosed as alopeica areata. I immediately went to a chinese herbalist and he gave me chinese hair pills and also ginseng and some other pills such as silica and told me to rub ginger on my spot 3 times a day. I did this and in about 2-3 months regrowth had started and by 6 months atleast an inch ahd grwon back... and everything seemed perfect.

I never eexpected that i would have to deal with this horrible problem again... but then 3 weeks ago i felt my head and another bald spot had appeared. ITs about 1 inch in diameter. I recently had a very bad cold.. and I never get sick... the cold I believe was a strong virus, i had an extremely sore throat, super bad headache, and that lasted for about a week. then I kept staying up late and going out and not really rresting because I felt fine.. but i kept having these headaches. so finally after 3 weeks of feeling bad I went to the doctor and he perscribed me

apo-ciproflaxin 500mg... which is an antibiotic. I wondered why he was perscribing me an anti biotic when I didnt htin i ahd a bacterial infection.. but i started taking it. 2-3 days after i did start feeling better so i almost finished the whole bottle. but then, i started noticed more hair coming out in the shower.. i didnt really think anything of it.. maybe my body and immune system was just in a bit of ashock from the sickness... but 2-3 wekes after getting better from the cold.. alopecia had showed up.

Now I dont kno what to do... i do not know how this alopecia is going to progress.. its been 3 weeks and i only have one spot.. but it seems like the rest of the hair on my head is thinning. eveyr day hair is falling out and i see alot in the shower.. its scaring me alot.. i jsut want the hair to stop falling out... i dont want another spot.. i dont want it to progress into alopecia totalis(all over scalp)

anyways.. im back on the chinese pills the doctor perscribed and have ginseng pills and ginger to rub on my head. im also taking MSM, silicia, a liver supplement, calcium magnesium, and selenium

I aalso have been taking DMSA... at the suggestion of my naturopathic doctor. he says ihave metal in my syustem and need to get rid of it. dmsa takes out the heavy metals.

But m yhair is still falling out and im very scared.. ANY ANY suggestions about homepathic medicines would be greatly appereacited.. im very dedicate dand will do wahtever it takes!

Thanks
