Dry socket

Last week I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth surgically removed. Three are healing fine, and the stitches are almost gone, but about three days ago I started having pain in my left ear. It is better if I bite my tongue or something. Now it is hurting very badly...and I think that I may have dry socket in my lower left jaw where the tooth was extracted, it feels like someone is stabbing something into my ear and hitting that socket... I saw someone else recommended two drops of clove oil on it. Any other advice? I am breastfeeding and do not want any more medicines, something natural and not animal derived.
Thanks,
S

Dear mayfloweracademy,

It is reffered pain which you are feeling in your ear.
Visit your dentist and in the mean time take Mag Phos 6X.
4 pellets thrice a day.It will relive your pain.

What do you mean by reffered pain? Is that from dry socket or just from having the tooth itself pulled?
Thank you,
S

Dear mayfloweracademy,

Along with Mag Phos take Arnica 200 thrice a day.
6-10 pellets of Arnica will work for you.

Dear mayfloweracademy,

It means pain originated from that socket nerve. And you are feeling it in your ear.

Referral pain is usual in teeth problems. Nerves branch out in facial area, problem could be somewhere else and pain is at another place.

Hi Ihad the same problem some time back and arnica definitely helped also I gargled with 1/2salt in a glass of warm water 3-4 times that helped immensely.
Hope u feel better soon.

Dear Mayfloweracademy,

Take medicine only.I do not advise you gargles.

Thanks, turned out to not be dry socket, just a slower rate of healing on that side of my mouth for some reason and some nerves were slightly damaged causing me pain....I am doing much better, but did not get the arnica as my health store did not have any, so I ended up popping some of my son's teething tablets (six of them for me) and they helped.
I am feeling better now, and it is healing up better.
Thank you for your advice, I am sure it may come in handy if anyone else has these problems.
Thank you,
Steph.
