Underarm odour

I have been undergoing homeopathic treatment for several months and everything is going well except for a nasty underarm odour that gets worse as the day goes on even though I wash them several times a day. The armpit area seems to be moist.
My homeopath says it is part of the detoxification process, and I am fine with this but how long will it take, and/or is there something she has missed? She doesn't seem to place much importance on it but I am tired of the stink.
I am a Natrum Muriaticum constitutionally and she is treating me with liver remedies also as well as Mercurius 6C.
Any help gladly appreciated.

Dear Salt,

It is part of the process.

Sweat on its own has no odour to it; sweat is simple water and salts. When odour builds up in sweats it is because either the lympathic system is clearing up (which means bacteria's are being exerted out).

You have bacteria in your sweat and they act as a defense for you body, however if there is too much you may produce a stronger odour. Or the second cause can be due to homornal imbalances (this can vary depending on your sex).

What type of odour is your armpit? (onion, sweet, sour, putrid... etc)

Hope this helps you out a bit.

Hi
yes regular sweat is not offensive but beleive me this is offensive. Family memeber have referred to it as like rotten vegetables, so I guess it would be somewhere between onion and putrid.
I had thought it was possibly a lympathic cleansing thing, do you think there could be a remedy to speed up the process?

thanks for your comments much appreciated,
Salt

You can cure your problem by using Johnson's Baby Shampoo instead of bath soap which seems to provide the ideal conditions for the bacteria to propagate in the sweat. I believe that this shampoo works primarily by altering the ph in the sweat while the exotic ingredients in this shampoo all contribute to stopping the unpleasant odour. Use a few drops of this shampoo, just sufficient to creat bubbles under the arms and wash it off.

I note below the ingredients of Johnson's Baby Shampoo which may be of interest:

Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, PEG-150 Distearate, Fragrance, Polyquaternium-10, Tetrasodium EDTA, Quaternium-15, Citric Acid, Yellow 10 and Orange 4.

I have been using it on my hair for perhaps 30 years and discovered many years ago that this shampoo was the ideal solution to eradicating under-arm body odour which we suffer from here in the tropics.

Johnson's Baby Shampoo ... intresting to hear of that, Dove soap helps take away any offensive sweat I may have after exercising.

In regards to a homeopathic medicine; what is the reason you are being treated (why did you go see a homeopath)?

if 'odor' started after treatment and is new symptom (never had before),then either overaction of remdey administered or indications for follow up remedy......'detoxification' is vague terminology--'odor' is a symptom and needs be addressed as such...

Odor is actually part of the healing process refer to Herings Law's.

Hi to all,
yes I believe it is part of the detoxification/healing process as I notice a general feeling of wellbeing that was not as noticeable before, and I am aware of Herings laws, maybe in this case the armpit is the most available vent for the liver? that is if the bowel and kidneys are a little on the slow side? due to insufficient liquids to facilitate excretion?
Let me know what you think.
I became interested in homeopathy after reading a few books about it and it seemed pretty logical to me. I have not looked back. The reason I looked into it was leg pain, which has since been resolved successfully.
good wishes to all,
Salty
