perineal tear from delivery - when used glue instead of stitches..

HI,
I had my second baby almost 4 weeks ago and had a minor (less than 1 inch) tear and my midwife used glue to put it together. For those who used glue for the tear, how long did this take to heal? How long do you need to wait until you can walk, move around? I've felt good this time with the delivery so I've moved around in the house occasionally. I finally looked at the site yesterday to see whether it healed or not and I think it looks like it didn't close up but there appears to be no open wound. I'm upset and don't know what to think. I'll need to call my midwife to see whether it has healed like it supposed to or not. If any of you used glue, please tell me how it went with you. Thanks.
