baby - late walking

Hi all,

My baby is a bit late in walking. he is around 13-1/2 month old. he has been standing for about 2 months now. he just doesnt like to walk. for a week or so, when insisted, he walks for 2-3 steps. if he is away, he prefers crawling.

he has been early in teething and had around 8 teeth at 10 months or earlier and is now growing right molar.

He doesnt like to eat too.

Please help.

I don't think you should worry about your baby not walking yet. He will get there soon enough. The average range for babies to start walking is from 8 to 16 months. Your son is showing signs that he's getting ready for those important steps and you'll soon be chasing him around. My son was also 'late' with his first solo steps at 15 months, but now I can't keep up with him. Enjoy your son as he is now, for they grow up too soon.

I hope that the remedies help your baby with his appettite. He may not be getting enough nourishment.

Once my mother treated a baby that was late in walking. He would only crawl. She fixed him oatmeal every day for a few days and within one week he was walking. She might have also fixed him some type of starchy food made from corn starch.

After cooking the oatmeal, she blended it in the blender to liquify it and use it in the baby bottle.

This baby that walked in one week had one leg that he dragged behind him because it was too weak.

tjalal,
Please let us know how your baby is doing.

If the remedies don't help him with his appettite try some gentle massage on his belly and his back also. Sometimes little things get lodged in the intestines and takes away the appettite. Gentle massage on his tender little body helps with this.

there is not problem in talking. he started babbling much earlier that other babies of his age. now he even says few 2 and 3 word sentences, which even toddlers 4 months senior to him.

I have been giving cal ph 6x + ferr ph 6x for a couple of months now. but not that frequently.

I have just started giving calc carb 30., will tell you results. his legs are cold.

he crawls a lot but no leg is dragging.
I will try oatmeal too!
thanks and bless you all.

make sure you add some sugar to the baby's oatmeal bottle which you can also add some milk.

Do what you can to get him to eat it.
