Sucking lower lip - in 4yr old
Hi EverybodyMy daughter is almost 4 yrs old and since she was 2 & 1/2 yrs she got in the habit of sucking her lower lip. At that time she was in the day care and it started suddenly I presumed it was probably insecurity which got her to do it but now the problem is she sucks her lower lip in her sleep also because of which her front tooth have become protruded and the front two teeth are starting to split. This is causing me worries and we have ignored it thinking it will stop and have also explained to her that her teeth wil split but she is unable to stop the habit even when playing with other kids or watching TV or whenever concentrating and while sleeping she sucks her lower lip. Is there any homeopathy medecin to stop the habit?? She has very little appetite and is very thin only 11.8 kgs but is otherwise active and everything is normal.Please do suggest something that can be done to get her rid of this habit.

your detail is ok but i require more but for lips sucking there is three medicine in homoeopathy you can judge from following symptom or send the more detail about behaviour.
Arum Triphyllum- Lips dry swollen , cracked for the he is always sucking in to mounth.
Bryonia-Chewing motion of lips , lips dry, as if burnt,parched, wants to moisten them and sucking into mouth
Other drugs are also there but above medicine is first graded medicine.

My daughter sucks her lower lip when concentrating or while going to sleep and in her sleep also. She was given bryonia 30 before as she has nose bleeds from right nose in summer and winter and it is not by digging just suddenly there is a lot of bleeding.When given bryonia also she continued lip sucking. Her upper lips are dry and skin keeps peeling out. She is always in a good mood but does'nt like crowds since a little baby.

My husband had the same habit in childhood but he was applied bitter gourd ( karela ) , neem juice etc to stop I don't want to do that. I know this is an old post but wanted to know what helped your daughter to come out of yhis habit.
please reply as I am seriously looking for remedies tocure this habit
