SFMA (single female mutt w/acne) please help
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could please help me with my acne. I have been browsing these message boards in hopes of finding the right remedy but none I've broswed through have the same conditions as me.I'm 20 yrs old and I started taking calcarea sulphurica about 3 weeks ago. It has helped in healing and drying blemishes up faster and w/the redness, but the breakouts haven't subsided. Most of my breaksouts occur on my cheeks and are somewhat deep pustules that take a few days to come to a head. And I have oily skin.
I think my breakouts are hormonal because when I eat sugary foods I break out shortly after probably because of the insulin. I have been on a very strict diet for the past months only eating veggies, fruits, nuts, and a little chicken. The diet change has helped but not completely diminished my problem.
Also as of lately my nose, which is always prone to nose bleeds anyways, has been bleeding when I barely rub my nose and wash my face. I'm wondering if it's a side effect of the calc sulph.
My question is: Would it be safe to take another remedy on top of the calc sulph or should I change my remedy? I'm not sure what to change it to. Should I try arnica? Whenever I try the homeopathic Remedy Finder on this website I always get a response that basically has an equal percentage for each remedy.

i have the exact same skin as you.....i know the hell you are going through belive me....i tried everything from herbal remedies to proactiv solution......the herbal didn't work and proactiv irritated my skin even more....have you heard of something called obagi nu derm? it by rx only and expensive.....i tried it and i went through bad redness and peeling but after a few weeks my face was completely clear i mean i thought i was beyond help and now i have not even one blemish and only need powder and no foundation or concealer....this is the only thing that ever TRULY worked for me....i am not afraid to look in the mirror anymore....if you have any questions you can email me
