Potency

Hi, I've been percribed 200c from my homeopath. I just wanted to be clear whether that is a high dosage or not, and where the dosages start from and end.
Thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your homeopath knows better why he prescribed 200c.It is a nornmal practice to prescribe different potencies for the present ailment. For furthe information please contact the prescriber he may be right.

The ‘dosage’ is not the right description for a homeopathic remedy. There is a dilution and a dynamization is those remedies. Dilution and dynamization are done at the same time. The “c” means that the dilution is 1:100 and the 200 means that this dilution was made two hundred times. It also means that the dynamization was done two hundred times. So the remedy is very, very diluted but also highly dynamized. Two hundred remedies are usually prescribed for chronic cases and/or for affections that are rooted very deep.
