Dog with Lyme disease

HI, my dog has just been diagnosed with Lyme. He is 4, I recently retired him from field work due to just not being with it, and at a muscle test appt she said he was positive for Lyme. I had blood done to confirm it, and to also see if all his organs were functioning properly, which they were. He is a hard to keep weight on dog, very stressed easily, and recently had him muscle tested by a new person (other one moved away) and she said to put him on Gellsinium (sp) So, he gets 3 pills, 2x per day, and they are 12c. He has been on this for two weeks this Friday. I also bought a Lyme support from Advanced Biological Concepts, to put him on. My question is, does anyone know if this rememdy is one that is used commonly for Lyme, or is each person/animals case different, so the remedy is different. She made it sound as if this one is stronger than another, Leedum (sp). Also, I really dont want to use antibiotics, as his stomach isnt the best to begin with, but has anyone experienced any feedback about not using antibiotics? I know if left untreated, it can do a number on your organs. Sorry for the long post, Im just so bothered by using/not using antibiotics. As I want to help him get thru this, and hope for a positive future. Thanks
Heather

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Give Ledum 1M three times a day for several days. Preventing Lyme disease can be done with a so called nosode (Borrelia burgdorferi 60x).

Once he has it, I would imagine that I cant give him the nosode, correct?? Or do you still give it. Thanks

No, the nosode prevents that the dog gets sick after a tick bite in the future, it is not strictly necessary. For this present, acute situation give Ledum 1M three times a day.
