high sugar in pregnancy

I am pregnant with our second child and during my first preganancy during 2nd trimester I had high sugar I think there is very high possibility that it will go high again . by the way I am in my 4rth week at the moment.
is there any thing I can take to prevent high sugar later on in the preg.

Hasnaat last decade

untill now there is no sign of high sugar I guess it wiil start from 3rd month non wards and will know about once i have my blood tests.
