Blood level (anemia)

I took a anemia test and my blood level is below 8. If I eat foods high in iron, how long do you think it will take to bring the level back up to around 12 to 13?

Impossible to answer this question.

It is very likely that due to Pharmaceutical treatment your GIT -- gastro-intestinal tract--- is unable to absorb iron from the foods passing through.

However using low potency ferrum - say 3x twice a day may help.

It is also possible that the problem is elsewhere in the body - so suggest an occasional dose of Natrum Mur 10m .
Best Wishes.

My son had his iron level checked and he is borderline anemic. Is Ferrum 3x the prefered remedy to help with this. He currently is taking a vegetable supplement which is very rich in iron. Will the Ferrum work better?
Thanks.

in case ferrum met 3x is not available then ferrum phos 3x can be used till the required result is achieved.

Is there a vitamin that you should take to absorb the iron better? And what other juices could I take besides orange juice, I am allergic to it?
