scarlet fever

My daughter has had fever for 2 days 38.3 degrees Celcius. Today the 3rd day she woke up with a rash mainly in the armpit area, shoulders, back and stomach. The armpit had the worst amount of rash. She has been complaining of sore throat and headache too. I have been giving her ibuprofen for fever which brought the fever down to about 37.5. Because she had a rash, I took her to the doctor today. The doctor did a throat swipe and said she has scarlet fever. We got a prescription for penicilin and more ibuprofen for the fever.
Before going to the doctor's office, I gave her 3 globilies of Belladona D30.

Upon returning fromo the doctors office I relized she was quite happy and did not seem sick. I took her temp. and it was 37.2. The rash has lessened meaning it is not so noticeable and not so pink and it doesn't bother her.

So now I have this child 8 years old, who has been told she has scarlet fever and should take the antibiotics. I feel she is recovering and therefore should not take the antibiotics. What do you all think? Should I give ther the antibiotics anyway? Should I give her another day and see what happens? I gave her another does of Belladona D30 3 globilies and she still is happy, singing, dancing and playing nicely in ther room. No interest in laying on the couch today and watching tv. Should I continue with Belladona? If I stay with Belladona and do not give her antibiotics, for how long is she contagious. We have a birthday party planned for her on Sunday that is in 4 days.

I welcome your comments.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
no other medicines--seems as told belladonna response was proper---as said observation is important--watch for subtle changes --in appetite -stool-thirst urination--emotion....etc..as long as keep on it--and treat as see fit--right homoeopatic remedies will get child through without ill consequence.....

Thanks for your reply John. It looks like I changed my mind in the night. She slept next to me and was very restless constantly scratching her rash. I slept very lighting and always thinking about those antibiotics. I gave in during the night and gave her a very small dose (half of recomm dose for her age) of the antibiotics. I guess since I have started I need to finish the course of the antibiotics. And at least we can have this b-day party on Sunday.
So, the next time she gets scarlett fever or step throat what should be the procedure? I read on other messages that giving antibiotics should be the course of action. Does everyone agree?
