White spots on lips

The problem started in 1997 when I started observing small white spots on my upper lip,as they were few in numbers I did not take much notice.Gradually they started increasing.I went to several doctors one of them gave me some light treatment(some sort of incandescent lamp was held before me and I had to sit before it for aprox 10 minutes....it did not help) the second docter told me that the sweat pores on th upper lips were open ,she gave some ointment which again did'nt help much.

Kindly help me for treating this as it sometimes gets pretty embarrassing to face others.

I have similar problem like you. white patches on lips and finger tips. Did you take any treatments? Did it worked?. It would be great if you could share in this forum. It would be of great help.
