Hair on the head becomes hard and gel-like

Hello.

Problems with my hair recently.

Since last week the texture of some parts of my hair on my head changed. It becomes like hair when one applies gel onto it (shiny surface, very hard, and stick into bunches together, greasy looking, but no oil when you touch it). I haven't applied any chemical on it. I've tried changing shampoo, conditioner, and my comb. But problem didn't solve (even worse with more gel-like and more parts of hair on head like this).

What I might attribute is that I've taken medicine for a whole week last week for fever and bacterial inflammation and in the throat, and there might be some reaction?? But I tried asking the doctor who prescribed this medicine, and she replied there is no relation to this.

I've tried going to the hair salon and asked for help, but ppl replied they never see such a case happens.

I've gone to the skin doctor today, and she replied she doesn't know what this is either. She just gave me a medicated scalp cleanser for treatment of dandruff and scaling scalp (which i guess is irrelevant to my situation), and DOXYCYCLINE (an antibiotic), and CETIRIZINE (for managing allergy).

I'm quite worried about my hair. It looks horrible, and I worry it might spread around my whole head. Now problem happens on hair on forehead, and on the top of my head, and some parts on the side of my head.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try Phytolacca - 30 twice a day for few days.
