Joe De Livera - can I mix Arnica 30c and 6c in the wet dose?

Mr. Livera,

I've been very interested in your posts on wet doses, as well as the ones on Arnica. I happen to have issues with both blood pressure and blood sugar, which would reuqire me to take 30c for one, and 6c for the other.

I am getting ready to prepare a wet dose per your specifications, and I was wondering if I could mix the 2 potencies. Would the 30c cancel out the 6c? Should I pick one problem and deal with it first, then work on the other with the other potency?

Also, do I shake the bottle 10 times before 1st dose, and then at least 6 times prior to each subsequent dose? I read some posts where people have shaken the bottle as many as 50 times...

I greatly appreciate your reply, as well as the input from anyone else who wishes to offer it.

Sicnerely,
Marinastar

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
An additional question, if I may:

If one took the Arnica 6c, would that work on both one's blood pressure and diabetes issues? Would it also have a positive effect on all the other medical issues Mr.Livera mentioned in his thread on the miracle of Arnica?

Sincerely,
Marinastar

Your BP and BS levels can be controlled by just one potency Arnica 30c. As far as I can remember I have not prescribed 6c for BS for which I have only used 30c.

In the case of Eczema however, the potency is 6c but you do not have this ailment.

Shaking the bottle hard just 10 times will do nicely.

Please report your response on the morning after your first dose taken at night.

Mr. De Livera,

Thank you so much for your response and for all your hard work to assist people in this forum.

I will do the Arnica 30c wet dose and make sure I update you and the forum on my progress.

I have been struggling with: 1. blood pressure
2. carbohydrate snsitivity /hypoglycemia
3. obesity
4. depression
5. a pesky skin eruption/hives that show up once every 2-3 months and stay for 6 weeks or so

It is almost like a vicious circle: obesity causes the BP/glycemic issues, but depression drowns all my efforts to lose weight, then being overweight makes me even more depressed. As for the rash, it's just the 'cherry on the cake' to make my life even more challenging.

I guess my struggle is, from the above ailments, which to deal with first. I am also in posession of Nat Phos 6x which you recommended for weight loss, but to which I had a strange reaction (I posted in another thread).

What should I do?

Thanks again for all your help:

You can use the Arnica 30c in the wet dose taken 3 times daily and we can see how your BP and BS levels and your skin eruptions respond after a week.

Please repeat the reaction that you posted on another thread to the Nat Phos.

Mr. De Livera,

Something very exciting has happened:

I started taking Arnica 30c in the wet dose for BP and BS control 2 days ago, and I have a very unexpected and positive 'side effect'. But let me start from the beginning...

1. On my upper cheekbones, on both sides of my face, I have two brown spots with uneven edges, called melasma, or chloasma.

2. I have had them since 1996 or so, after my child was born and after I stopped birth control pills for health reasons.

3. According to medical literature, in non-pregnant women, melasma indicates hormonal imbalance which causes overproduction of melanin.

3. I have olive skin and my mother has similar spots, so I thought I have a predisposition and just have to live with them.

4. I have tried to bleach them out before, but it didn't work well. I discontinued bleaching attempts after becoming more convinced that the creams are harming my health.

5. Only 3 days ago on Wednesday, before a meeting, I was working hard on covering these spots with concealer and other make up.

6. I looked in the mirror this morning, and noticed something very unusual - the spots have faded about 80% and are almost invisible! I was shocked!

7. The only thing I have taken between Wednesday and today is the Arnica 30c. I have been racking my brain to come up with an alternate explanation for this change, but I can't. They couldn't have faded by themselves, since I have changed nothing in my lifestyle or diet. Plus, this condition is supposed to be aggravated during summer, due to increased UV exposure. And trust me, here in Texas in the summer, I get plenty of UV exposure.

8. I can't describe why Arnica worked on my brown spots. Did it improve an balance my hormones, therefore fading the spots? Or, did it work directly on the skin restoring it to its original levels of melanin? Or did it do something entirely different? I am not saying it would work on others, but then again, it may be worth the try.

9. I was wondering ... you have had such a rich experience with Arnica, have you heard of anything similar? As for me, I will continue taking the wet dose and keep you posted on my progress with this, as well as BP and BS conditions.

Sincerely,
Marinastar

I have always maintained that one Lives to Learn.

I am grateful to you for having shared your discovery that in just 2 days on Arnica 30c in the wet dose, you have actually witnessed your Melasma spots clearing up and being lightened to the colour of the surrounding skin. Quite frankly, this is another first for me and for Arnica. I am as excited as you are in this very unusual effect which it would be safe to state was caused by the Arnica you used but what is baffling me is how in just 2 days when I presume you took a total of just 4 teaspoonfuls of the remedy, it could have 'dissolved' the pigmentation and thereby lightened the spots. It is very likely that within the next few days or weeks that these spots may disappear and I am sure that you will record your progress as you have done above.

Arnica is known to promote the circulation of blood in the body. It is possible that the darker pigmentation of your Melasma spots was due to the clumping of the pigment on the skin which would normally have been 'washed' by the blood flow thereby ensuring that the addition of pigment did not occur in one spot but because of the presence of some substance like fat, the pigment was clumping up in one spot and perhaps even adding to the buildup of the colour which would only darken more in time.

As soon as you took that infinitesimal dose of Arnica 30, it helped to clear the blockage of the pigment on the spot and in just 2 days it was gone ! I must admit that I am only conjecturing on the action that can occur due to the action of the Arnica but there is indeed a strong possibility that my conjecture can be accepted logically as how your Melasma spots cleared up as if by Magic !

I am awaiting your report of your response to the Arnica in terms of your Hypertension and Hypoglycemia which I have never used Arnica to help. It does help to reduce Hyperglycemia or elevated Blood Sugar but never the reverse. However we shall wait and see.

I note that you have not answered my query on how Nat Phos reacted with you which you stated was unusual and which you posted in another thread.

Hi there,

I too have melasma and was thinking of trying Arnica 30c. I bought some from my local health food store in tiny tablet form and was wondering if they were ok to take with MSM and if so how many I should take a day. I was told not to touch them with my hands and not to take them at the same time as food. Is this correct. I would be grateful of your advice.

Kind regards,
Suzanne

I have no idea of your ailment and note that you refer to taking Arnica 30c 'with MSM'.

Please elaborate.

Joe De Livera last decade
I have been taking MSM (sulphur) to try and fade melasma on my face which is dark pigmentation on my face ie upper lip and cheeks. I read on this forum that one woman who was taking Arnica found that her melasma faded and wondered if this would work for me but I did not want to take it if it is likely to react with MSM.

I look forward to your reply.

Kind regards

Suzanne

Do I understand that you are using MSM (which stands for methylsulfonylmethane) ? If so I shall be interested to learn how you identified this chemical for melasma.

I do doubt that it can help you for this condition and if you do decide to use Arnica which as you have read has already helped to fade melasma in just 2 days, you are advised to stop the MSM and substitute it with Arnica 30c in the wet dose and report your response in a week or less if you too discover that your melasma has also faded.

Joe De Livera last decade
Hello,

Yes you are correct in the MSM and it has been well documented that the MSM has helped some people with the same condition. I stopped taking it today and will start taking the wet dose. Should I take the tablets back? How much wet dose should I take? I shall keep you reported on any progress.

Thank you so much.

As long as you have got Arnica 30c you can make the wet dose by inserting about 3 pellets if they are 3mm diameter into a 500ml bottle of spring water which you will shake hard every time before you sip a teaspoonful of this water which is now the remedy, twice daily.

Joe De Livera last decade
Hello,

Thank you for your advice. On the bottle, it says to not take 15 minutes before/after food or drink but to place one pill under the tongue. They are about 3mm as you suggested and I was told not to touch them with my bare hands.

Please can you advise further. Sorry for all the question, just want to take correctly.

Thanks again,

Suzanne

Please follow the instructions that I have given you in my last post and do not bother with the instructions that you have read on the bottle. Homeopathic remedies are best taken about an hour before a meal.

I have proved that the wet dose is far more effective than the dry pellets under the tongue which I too used in the past over a year ago.

Hello,

Well, I'm taking the wet dose like you suggested, but I feel really tired, nauseas and have a bitter taste in my mouth. Could this be related to taking the Arnica. I am getting so desparate to get rid of my melasma that I will try anything, but I'm feeling terrible.

Hello:

After going through all the miracles of Arnica, I've decided to start it for the two reasons, (1) Eczema (2) Smoking.

Could you please advise me, if I should start with 6C or 30C. If in 6C, should it be taken in wet dose or not?

Also, I have taken Lyco 30 on Aug. 9, 06. Is is safe to take Arnica after Lyco.

and one more question, I know that this stupid to ask, but still I want to clarify. Time and again 'Spring Water' is mentioned, does it mean 'Mineral Water' available everything like 'Nestle Water' or it is a special one. Please clarify.

To Mani

I shall be interested to learn your response to the Arnica therapy which anyone can use as indicated in my original post.

Start with the 30c in the wet dose, 1 teaspoonful thrice daily sipped after shaking the bottle hard 10 times (succussion). This dosage to be reduced to twice daily after 2 weeks.

Spring water is usually taken from deep bore wells about 100M deep where the water is hopefully pure. Otherwise any water including tap water will do provided it is boiled and preferably filtered. Well water also qualifies after boiling and cooling.

I note with interest that you feel that you have reacted to Arnica in a very strange manner which I have never encountered before.

I am confident that it cannot be the Arnica and is perhaps due to a bug you have caught which will pass off in 3-5 days.

Its my 2nd day to Arnica 30C. I am feeling fresh and a bit comfortable. On first day I developed some headache (on left side) but it was gone shortly. Craving for cigrettes havn't reduced yet.

Will keep on posting my experience with Arnica.

This is the testimony of a person who used to smoke about 30 cigarettes daily and does not smoke any today, thanks to Arnica.

I presume that you are taking Arnica twice daily.

Joe De Livera last decade
To Joe:

Thanks for mentioning. I will be posting my experience with Arnica to that Forum.

2ndly, I am taking Arnica thrice daily as advised by you. Please refer to your earlier posts under the same thread. Please advise if otherwise.

mani_jee last decade
You may use the thrice daily dose for 2 weeks and then reduce to twice daily when you feel the urge lessening.

You are also advised to try to will yourself to stop smoking as the remedy cannot help you completely. It will provide some positive impetus towards this goal but it all depends on your cooperation.

Hello,

I have been taking Arnica 30c wet dose for a week now, and it is hard to tell if it has had an effect on my melasma. Is it safe to continue using it long term?

thank,
