?!?!?! Arnica 30C fading away brown spots on face?!?!?!

Hi Everyone,

I posted this on my other Arnica thread as a response to Mr. De Livera. Then I thought others may have my problem and possibly benefit so I am starting a new thread:

Mr. De Livera,

Something very exciting has happened:

I started taking Arnica 30c in the wet dose for BP and BS control 2 days ago, and I have a very unexpected and positive 'side effect'. But let me start from the beginning...

1. On my upper cheekbones, on both sides of my face, I have two brown spots with uneven edges, called melasma, or chloasma.

2. I have had them since 1996 or so, after my child was born and after I stopped birth control pills for health reasons.

3. According to medical literature, in non-pregnant women, melasma indicates hormonal imbalance which causes overproduction of melanin.

3. I have olive skin and my mother has similar spots, so I thought I have a predisposition and just have to live with them.

4. I have tried to bleach them out before, but it didn't work well. I discontinued bleaching attempts after becoming more convinced that the creams are harming my health.

5. Only 3 days ago on Wednesday, before a meeting, I was working hard on covering these spots with concealer and other make up.

6. I looked in the mirror this morning, and noticed something very unusual - the spots have faded about 80% and are almost invisible! I was shocked!

7. The only thing I have taken between Wednesday and today is the Arnica 30c. I have been racking my brains to come up with an alternate explanation for this change, but I can't. They couldn't have faded by themselves, since I have changed nothing in my lifestyle or diet. Plus, this condition is supposed to be aggravated during summer, due to increased UV exposure. And trust me, here in Texas in the summer, I get plenty of UV exposure.

8. I can't describe why Arnica worked on my brown spots. Did it improve and balance my hormones, therefore fading the spots? Or, did it work directly on the skin, restoring it to its original levels of melanin? Or did it do something entirely different? I am not saying it would work on others, but then again, it may be worth the try.

9. I was wondering ... you have had such a rich experience with Arnica, have you heard of anything similar? As for me, I will continue taking the wet dose and keep you posted on my progress with this, as well as BP and BS conditions.

Sincerely,
Marinastar

I am copying my response to your post in the other thread which I felt would be of interest to members who read this thread.

Arnica 30c and 6c in the wet dose? From Joe De Livera on 2006-08-06
To Marianstar

I have always maintained that one Lives to Learn.

I am grateful to you for having shared your discovery that in just 2 days on Arnica 30c in the wet dose, you have actually witnessed your Melasma spots clearing up and being lightened to the colour of the surrounding skin. Quite frankly, this is another first for me and for Arnica. I am as excited as you are in this very unusual effect which it would be safe to state was caused by the Arnica you used but what is baffling me is how in just 2 days when I presume you took a total of just 4 teaspoonfuls of the remedy, it could have 'dissolved' the pigmentation and thereby lightened the spots. It is very likely that within the next few days or weeks that these spots may disappear and I am sure that you will record your progress as you have done above.

Arnica is known to promote the circulation of blood in the body. It is possible that the darker pigmentation of your Melasma spots was due to the clumping of the pigment on the skin which would normally have been 'washed' by the blood flow thereby ensuring that the addition of pigment did not occur in one spot but because of the presence of some substance like fat, the pigment was clumping up in one spot and perhaps even adding to the buildup of the colour which would only darken more in time.

As soon as you took that infinitesimal dose of Arnica 30, it helped to clear the blockage of the pigment on the spot and in just 2 days it was gone ! I must admit that I am only conjecturing on the action that can occur due to the action of the Arnica but there is indeed a strong possibility that my conjecture can be accepted logically as how your Melasma spots cleared up as if by Magic !

I am awaiting your report of your response to the Arnica in terms of your Hypertension and Hypoglycemia which I have never used Arnica to help. It does help to reduce Hyperglycemia or elevated Blood Sugar but never the reverse. However we shall wait and see.

I note that you have not answered my query on how Nat Phos reacted with you which you stated was unusual and which you posted in another thread.

Dear Joe,

Thanks for letting us know the many unknown miracles hidden in Arnica.Who knows what all it may be capable of healing apart from traumatic injuries for which it is normally used.It also tells homeopaths that clinical confirmation of symptoms healed by a remedy are at least as important as provings, if not more.

I for one am a great fan of yours.

With very warm regards and best wishes for a very very long and serviceful to others life for you.

I am certainly happy for you that you have found a treatment for your brown spots.

I've seen other threads where women come here looking for solutions to this problem so I'm sure this thread will serve others as well.

Thanks so much for sharing.

It was nice of you to post your thoughts on my latest 'discovery' in the use of Arnica. It is unfortunate that some classical homeopaths and also pseudo homeopaths have often criticized me for my attitude to homeopathy which I do not use in the classical manner dictated by the greats but my point is that when one has that gift of helping others which in my case I have always done out of a sense of service to others, I believe that it is my duty to forge ahead in spite of all the criticism that I have faced which you may perhaps have read on this and other forums.

I do admit that I have a special affinity to Arnica which started in 1996 when I first used it after discovering accidentally that it helped me with my blockage in my prostate which was later dealt with surgically in 2002. Since that time I have discovered many more interesting uses for it where it cured or at least helped to cure ailments that are not described in the classical texts.

It is indeed a pity, and I can even go as far as calling it a shame, that these same classical and pseudo classical types resent my inroads into their domain merely because I do not sport that diploma they have and also because I refuse to conform to the classical method that they were all brainwashed into accepting as being the only way to heal. The irony of it all is that I seem to be left with having the last laugh, as many cases that I have helped, and this does not only include cures by Arnica alone, are ample testimony to the success resultant from my own approach to healing with Homeopathy, which these same classical types have attempted to emulate in vain.

I was interested to note from the biodata on your profile that you are doing research on Management studies and that Homeopathy to you is also a hobby as it has been for me for many decades. I would ask you to be free in your thinking as I am in the use of remedies, as I feel that it is time that this science was given a shakeup by types like you and me as I have reached the conclusion after having studied the science and also weathered so much criticism in my own approach to it, that the majority of this criticism is prompted by jealousy as they resent the fact that I project my attitude somewhat forcefully on an open forum like the ABC which perhaps makes them sensitized to their own classical approach towards healing which does not always seem to get the results that follow my own approach which some have termed 'Joepathy'.

I have always been of opinion that the interest of the patient comes first and I shall continue to use my own approach towards healing which I believe is now being talked of in homeopathic circles.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and wishes and I can assure you that I shall never deviate from the path that I have chosed to follow which I am convinced is the more direct path towards Homeopathic Healing for the rest of my life.

Can the pellet form of Arnica 30 c work just as well? Cannot find the wet form here where I live?

rimi2001 last decade
Yes you can use 3 pellets in the 500ml water bottle which you will shake up every time before you take a sip.

I see that you have dug up a post which dates back 6 years to 2006.

I have in the meanwhile found that the Wet dose of any remedy is best made with the Liquid Dilution in Ethanol which you can get from most suppliers.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

Hi Joe, thank you very much for informing me and I will do as you have said. I have posted some personal problems on your site but have not got an answer yet and I do not know whether you got my message. I was wondering whether I should post it here. Also does arnica do for forgetfulness. Thank you is too poor a word to describe what you are doing until they find another word stronger than this simply thank you very much for caring.
