Help with 14 month old

Hi again, I wrote earlier about the possibility of my son having had a reaction to his 12 month immunizations. As recommended, I first gave him one dose of Silicea and was waiting four days to start Photolacca. In that time, we visited the doctor who had us take him for a blood test. He had a rash all over his body which sort of kept recycling and swollen glands, first in the groin, then the neck. This all occurred in a week's time.

Anyway, the blood test results came back with a slightly low WBC (white blood count) and everything else looking fine, hemaglobin was fine, she said the CBC was normal. The doctor said it was probably infection or the viral rash. She didn't see any need for concern, but when I research this online, it appears that higher WBC is related to the body fighting infection. The lower WBC doesn't come up with anything but blood and bone marrow diseases. She did say there were no blasts found in the results. I don't know the exact numbers on the test, but she said 'slightly low' and wasn't the least bit concerned, in fact, she said the results 'looked great' and then she said it could take a while for his glands to go down. She felt he had a generalized reaction to something. His rash has healed quite well, but the healing parts are kind of rough, but so tiny, it's hard to tell if it's like a scab, I think it is. His glands are still swollen and he's really crabby and only slightly tired. He is also teething.

So I have two questions:

1 - Could the Silicea have effected his blood tests in any way? Mainly, the WBC?

2 - Should I be concerned at all, if she reviewed the whole CBC differential and has no concerns? Can anything frightening show up in just a slightly low WBC?

I just wish I could trust doctors and feel safe when they advise me, but I have this fear of missing something important, especially when it comes to my baby. Any advise anyone else can offer might help me find a direction.

Thanks
Jessica

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Ok so, just today, his rash flared a bit and he got a temp of 101.5. I know doctors don't worry until the fever gets to like 103, but I am really getting worried, is it normal for a temp to flare over a week into showing other symptoms?
