Lysteria Poisoning Please Help!
I am a homeopathy student and a friend of mine has come to me asking for a remedy...while I think I could find her a remedy it might take me a while so I have come here to seek your help.She fears it is rapidly turning into meningitis and she is very freaked out. It started about 24 hours after eating cheese, she developed a scratchy throat at first and a few hours later a dry throat cough with a minor fever off and on, today has been the same until about 4pm she had a fever spike of 104. Now her throat hurts VERY bad with the pain spreading. She has a stiff neck with the fever staying between 101-104. Then a headache started and she is feeling nauseas and dizzy. Her skin feels sunburned when touched, stomach hurts and she hasn't eaten lunch and thus thinks her blood sugar is low (she is hypoglycemic and needs to eat often) She has taken nux v. and it has helped the vomiting. Her main complaint now is her throat and slowly her neck and head, too, and the fever but she is not concerned with bringing her fever down, she feels it is beneficial. Her urine has a strong odor but is normal in color, it smells strong and stinky like it is super concentrated urine.
That is all I have as she has logged off of the computer. I wonder if she left for the hospital because she feared meningitis. I have a little bit of a prior history on her if you need to know any more.
