Adult recurring right ear infection

41 yr old with recurring right ear infection. First ocurred several years ago with a serious flu. Now happens whenever I have a slight cold. I'll sneeze a few times and then I feel the inner ear swelling up and the sound starts to get muffled. Ear doctor always perscribes Sulfameth 800mg/Trimeth 160mg pills for 2 weeks twice a day. It goes away but only towards the end of all the pills.

Also have eczema brought on by stress (it seems). Slightly asthmatic whenever exposed to cats.

Sleep hasn't been so great ever since we had our first child 4 years ago.

Pulsatilla
OR
Natrum Sul are the best bets here- if you are blonde and pale go for Pulsatilla 30c one dose a day for 3 days and wait a week to judge result.

sam, I just turned 42 and have eczema (or whatever they feel like calling it....'dermatits'?) that shows every winter, and have recurring ear infections about once a year. I rarely ever have a cold or catch a flu, but I sure can get a screamer for an ear infection. I am just recovering from one now and the last 5 days have really been a living hell. Hope you're feeling better, just thought you'd like to know you aren't alone. Also, did you try the remedy and did it work?
