Pains after delivery and Epidural

My wife is suffering from pains in her ribs, hip joints and back after delivery of our first baby. She also gets head sometimes. It's been 25 days but no relief from pain. She was given Epidural during labor.

where does the pain start from and to which other part(s) it spreads pls clarify?

Does it shoot?

Does the pain fly from one part to other?

Usually Arnica 200 twice after the delivery will be suffice for any woman who has just given birth to preclude any pain. Still before any other remedy is given for further symptoms arnica could be administered.

thanks. Pain is mostly in right lower ribs and it's shooting pain. It starts when she moves or changes position while lying on bed. She also has pain in hip joints.
Maheeru, we tried Arnica 6c but no help. Should we try Arnica 200 as u suggest?

Yeah give her arnica in 200 potency 6c not enough for pain after delivery. Repeat arnica 200 a few times. As there is improvement, reduce the dosage.

Please take,

Rhus Tox 200,

30 no. globules,

5 globules twice daily,

And inform about the result or lack of.

Better avoid taking any other homeo remedies.

Thanks MAheeru and freeconsult.
I'm now confused of which one to go for. Is there any harm in trying Arnica 200 first and then Rhus Tox?

Rhus tox is complementary to Arnica. So if I were you, I will administer arnica 200 dose twice. Then I'll go for rhustox as a complementary thing. But its open to you to follow in similar fashion or else you can continue with rhustox as freeconsult suggested. Going by the current symptoms, rhustox seems indicated that's why rhus but the causation trauma of delivery needs arnica. Infact this should ve been given immediately after delivery. So in my opinion arnica will clear the trauma and rhustox will clear up the remnant symptoms.

I am no doctor but just someone who has been in similar situation. I was in a car wreck 3yrs back and had 7 fractured ribs along with other serious injury. Ribs are self healing and it took a long time to heal. But even today one rib or two, i am not sure how many hurt when I am lying down or changing sides. When I had my baby, my entire pregnancy I had difficulty sleeping. What helped my pain after pregnancy was Arnica 30 every day 2 to 3 times depending on how many times i remembered. That truly is a miracle medicine. Good luck with her medicines.
