Hyperthyroidism - John Stanton/girilal/walkin/Dr Sharma or other experienced Hom.
Hi, I'm a 55 year old female.Always had a fast metabolism,losing weight easily, asthma + fast pulse.
After 2 emotional shocks I developed symptoms associated with hyperthyroid.
Was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in Feb. 2006.
My Naturopath/Homeopathic Dr. put me on Aur. M. 30 for one month - no change in symptoms.
Than Cupr. M 6 for one month -no change.
Followed by a combination remedy which included Thyr. 7 + Conchae 6 this remedy helped a bit.
Dr. wanted to stop all remedies and start a sort of emotional , sound therapy,he did not want to give me more information about this therapy and I stopped seeing him.I am a layman homeopath and with your help would like to beat this without going the alopathic way.
For the last 3 months I am using Thyr 7 (2 times a day, plussed)which seems to help in some ways.
SYMPTOMS
Right foot swollen - better after Rhus Tox 200
Perspiration at night - better
Thyroid storm - better
Frequent urination - better
Double vision - better
(better means no more problems with that symptom)
Weightloss - lost 12 kg - slowly picked up 3 kg
Palpitations still there, worse lying down at night.
Palpitations worse from exertion.
Out of breath easily
Wake up at night (after 2 hours sleep) out of breath, much phlegm in throat - better after drinking black tea with sugar.
Stomach bloated, much flatus, very hungry, craving sweats and eggs.
Skin dry, esp. under arms (axilla) hairless under arms and most parts of body.
Throat itching externally.
Teeth BAD, crumbling.
Have mercury fillings, started to remove them about 3 years ago, have stopped now.
Warts - small warts on back of right hand
Nails - ridges on , worse right hand
Face looks old
Varicose veins on right leg only (had these for about 15 years)
I do NOT use Iodised salt and never have but all commercial salt has added iodine so I eat only fresh food.
I tried Iodine 3, 6 and 30 but feel worse after.
Tried Calc C 6 and 30 - worse after.
At the moment I am still using Thyr 7 and Fluor Ac 6.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would suggest stopping Thyr and Fl/X and use
Thymus 6x twice a day for a week then wait a week to judge results.
Repeat if necessary.

We are getting very good result by taking Calc Iod 3x three times in a day for a long period, try if above medicine fail

Hi Walkin, I took Thymus Gland 6x (plussed)
Stopped taking Thymus after one week, its now 4 days after the last dose, I am slowly getting out of breath more and more each day, no change in any of the other symptoms. Do have a cold now,
but so does everyone else in my family.
Any advice? Thanks.
