www.hpathy.com has the Organon and many other major works available for free online. It also has a basic course you can take for free. To be a professional you would probably want to pursue certification or at least an apprenticeship. There are a number of programs available in the U.S., if that is where you are located. A pre-med type college curriculum would be helpful. Meanwhile, reading everything you can get your hands on, studying the Organon as thoroughly as you can, learning as much about the different remedies as possible. I know enough to be dangerous and to do a little first aid. The homeopaths I most admire have dedicated many years to it. Good luck. I agree, it is absolutely fascinating! And so different from any other science I was taught.

The 'basic' books can be bought very cheaply through specaitlty stores online. I think the CHC website has a study guide outline the books required reading.Another good online resource is homeint.com or something like that lots of books online . Homeopathy is very addictive!

Alongwith learning the basics of homeopathy...study about the human anotomy...which is very useful in understanding different diseases and their causes.

musicman, I doubt there is an age limit. I expect what they hope for is someone very eager to learn.
